AP’s 3 Hunters with Gandalf/Orc Wargs

vs

My 3 Hunters with Bouncing Pippin/Men Archery

As always AP made me go first so I pulled Aragorn and had a good setup with Namarie, Pippin and Longbow all in my hand. I doubled to site 3, I like to put the pressure on early with wounding decks like this to make my opponent double as well.

Unfortunately my Evil Men couldnt have killed a fellowship of Rohan allies, the deck was not setting up properly, it took me ages to get one archer minion out, no Countless Companies or Howdahs. Mouth was useless because I had no archers out, and all my Rapid Reloads got Namarie’d at site 3.

His wargs were a pain, but this deck is extremely aggravating to play against with Pippin jumping up and down on his minions (yes you guessed it, this deck was inspired by NB).

I had doubled to site 8 with him at 6, he had to double to keep up, I couldnt kill a thing.

When he reconciled he conceded that he didnt have enough minions to beat me, but we played on and I made it to site 9!! It has been a long time since I saw a FP run make it to the end.

Result: TheJord wins

Game Result
NB’s Dwarven Discard w/ Orc Beatdown/Corruption
vs.
my Rainbow Wounding w/ StBOoYV

Both of us moved into site 3 safely, but we both took beatings in region 2. He killed Gorn, but at sie 6 I dropped Sauron, which killed 2 of his 4 comps. I moved to 6 and handled his 1 minion, and then archery corrupted him at 7.

He had protested my Namarie eating up his conditions throughout the game, so we decided to play out my Freeps. I tripled to 9 (with Radagast, obviously) with ease, thanks to his inability to draw single minion on his reconciles. Razz

Good game! Very Happy
I had to put something here.

Namarie is broken. Absolutely. Orcs went from the most powerful strategy to the least powerful when Namarie was released and Smith banned. Gosh.

If AP dares to use Namarie, I will use Smith. Its far less broken than Namarie. Razz

Big deal Namarie.
Uruks have you do not know fear, or Sarumans power in expanded.
Raiders have Quelled and Discovered.
Nazgul have Bucland Homestad, Minas Morgul answers, Enquea from rise of Saruman.
Sauron culture has many solutions against it.
Orc have Dread in despair...

Me vs Gil-Estel

Game 1: MY Dwarf/Sauron Discard.
HIS Dwarf Tank/Balrog

Well, I discarded two of his Balrogs, but the two he got in play really mopped me up. I was able to deck him out with 5 burdens at 6 and dropped the Irresistible Shadow at 7. Good game.

WINNER: Me

Game 2: MY Fruit Loops
HIS Rainbow Wounding/Corsairs.

Cycled like mad, and he was nice enough to double for me, twice, so I could cycle more. Was able to dump all of my unecessary cards quite fast thanks to nabbing Captured by the Ring/Gollum, Old Villain when he doubled to 3.

Combo at 3. The rest was history.

WINNER: Me.

Bouncing Pippin is Pippin, Wearer of Black and Silver.

Good in a Faramir, BoQ deck
