Mythdracon’s Hobbits with Grim/Besiegers
vs
My Hunter w/Eowyn, LoI with Archery
Feel the full force of NPE Hunter Elf archery. Poor big besiegers didnt really get a chance, I think I had one skirmish at site 8 and Eowyn did her trick. The sad troll assigned to Galadriel never even got to fight.
His Hobbits did well against my archers, I didnt really ever get a good setup, plus Pallando kept eating my conditions but I had him in my sights at site 7 and if he hadnt had to leave I would of added about 11 arrows at the site, with Frodo having 8 burdens and 3 out of 5 companions exhausted, it wasnt looking good.
Good game, no winner, but I think had he not had to go to dinner I would have killed him or outrun him. |

I’m pretty sure you woulda won unless I’d been lucky. Howdah + Caravan of the South = OMG SO MUCH ARCHERY MUST KILL SOMEONE OFF WHO WILL IT BE. XD
And as I was a noob and everything had to be done manually we went back and forth to the manuever phase several times. I guess I’m too used to games with my friends where we’re allowed to take back certain actions so long as they’re not in the skirmish phase. O_o
Good game though. Now I know how powerful Elves are. ESPECIALLY with Namarie. That card is so Overpowered. XD |

Namarie is way, way too stupid! I agree. Howdaw can only give the bonus once. So 4 extra arrows per turn. No mather how many tokens are there. I’m afraid that a good deck nowadays has to put in a lot of condition discard, because of the brute power of some conditions. |

fishfleas Rohan with
vs
My 3 Hunters and Bouncing Pippin with Retribution Troll Swarm
I went first, got Thorongil and setup with Namarie and Focus. Then, of course, Buckland Homestead came out about 4 times, discarding every Namarie, FT3H, Focus and NQP I put out! Argh! It meants a tough fight for my deck, but by about site 6 my setup was starting to show its strength.
Now, Retribution Trolls are no fun to play against. Troll at least every site, 6 burdens by site 5, 3 companions dead with just Eomer left.
We had to finish with me at site 6 and FF at site 5. I’m sure he would of continued to discard ALL my conditions and cause me considerable pain, but in the end he gave me the win.
Winner: Me, declared by fishfleas |

Gillian’s Ents / Corsairs
vs
My Knights / Nazgul Corruption
A large fellowship is no good for my corruption deck... so hard to exhaust and get Dark Fell About Him.
He went first and I mulliganed. I got nothing for the first 2 sites, and we both moved to site 3 unscathed. My Knights were setting up nicely, Elendil with his new Narsil, which meant his War Galleys and other corsair possessions could be discarded. He threw out a nice swarm at site 5, discarding all my Gondor Bows and forcing Isildur to fight. I weathered the storm, hoping beyond hope my corruption would work.
I had added a few burdens here and there, so he moved to Neekerbreekers Bog and exerted everyone. Lingering Shadow on Huorn, with him exhausted and Enquea with 3 vitality left, Dark Fell About Him added 2 burdens per wound meaning 6 burdens in one go. Corrupted
Winner: Me by corruption |

I’ve made mistake when I leave Huorn exhausted, that could be prevented. Anyway I didn’t have much chance against coruption, my only coruption removal was Glamdring, and I didn’t draw it.
Both side of your deck were hard matchup for me, I could play 7 minions on site 5, but that wouldn’t be enough for Isildur.
Good game Jordy.
Anyone else for game? |
