I would make Great Animal exert him twice, other then that, put a limit on Beorn, Skin-Changer’s ability. Cool cards.

Yes, you’re right, 3 exertions make him a 22 strength damage +3 companion. Now read the bit where Beorn arrives at the battle of the five armies and tell me it isn’t justified! I may put a limit on it, if enough people agree, but you’ve got to remember that he only has 4 vitality, so that massive behemoth lasts only for 1 fight.

Yes, you’re right again, you could remove Sauron and become strength +24. But you’ve still got to remember that this only works with Beorn and has to exert him, thereby preventing the use of his abilities. And it’s not like Grimbeorn who gets the bonus until the regroup phase, this is only for a single fight. If I get more support for making him exert twice, I will change it.

Moving back to some juicy Orcs, I promised some Wargs. And here they are with some orkish allies:

1 Goblin Infiltrator Orc
Minion ● Orc
Str: 4
Vit: 1
Sit: 4
Ambush 2.
Goblins are found throughout Middle-Earth...
H1 U 164

And obviously a whole host of other simple ambush guys.

4 Goblin Raiding Party Orc
Minion ● Orc
Str: 9
Vit: 2
Sit: 4
Ambush 1.
Each Orc Warg’s site number is -1.
Now it seemed that a great goblin-raid had been planned for that very night.

2 Warg Ravager Orc
Minion ● Warg
Str: 6
Vit: 2
Sit: 5
While you can spot 3 twilight tokens, this minion is strength +2 and Damage +1.
A wolf snapped at his cloak as he swung up, and nearly got him.

3 Warg Pursuer Orc
Minion ● Warg
Str: 7
Vit: 2
Sit: 5
While you can spot 3 twilight tokens, this minion is strength +5.
If their plan had been carried out, there would have been none left there next day.

4 Wild Warg Orc

Str: 10
Vit: 3
Sit: 5
While you can spot 3 twilight tokens and another Warg, this minion is fierce and damage +1.
Every now and then all the Wargs in the circle would answer their grey chief all together, and their dreadful clamour almost made the hobbit fall out of his pine tree.

Vit: 3
Sit: 5
Toil 1.
While you can spot 3 Wargs, Great Grey Warg is strength +1 for each twilight token you can spot.
All the rest... sat in a great circle in the glade, and in the middle of the circle was a great grey wolf.

Condition ● Support Area
Shadow: Spot an Orc Orc and play an Orc Warg to add an Orc token here.
Shadow: Spot an Orc Warg and play an Orc Orc to add an Orc token here.
Skirmish: Remove a token from here or discard this condition to make an Orc Orc or Warg strength +1 (limit +3).
The Wargs had come to meet the goblins and the goblins were late.

d'oh! Ambush is a GREAT idea for the Wargs and their allies. I used a lot of hunter and some tracker, but I never even THOUGHT of ambush. Good thinkin’!

I used that same title (and a close subtitle) and people made fun of me. Razz I think he needs to be just toil 1 and/or raise his cost some, since he can get pretty huge.

"Remove an Orc token" is more technically accurate, I think. You might want to limit the ability to Orcs and Wargs rather than any Orc minion, too, since it doesn’t make a ton of sense for this boost, say, a Troll.
