The simplicity of the weapons carried by Sauron’s orkish armies made them no less deadly.
Neat. This could really do some damage if played right.

1 Orkish Bow Orc
Possession • Ranged Weapon
Bearer must be an Orc.
Archery: Exert bearer and spot 2 other Orc or Sauron minions to make bearer an archer until the regroup phase.
“...they laid siege to it for seven years, and suffered grievous loss by fire and by the darts and bolts of the Enemy....”
Nice card for Sauron. I don’t like the idea of Orc getting any more archery, but I guess it can’t be helped, huh? Silly Decipher. Razz Good card, though.

Here’s some more boosting for Orc archery. Hopefully, these are a more balanced way of going about it than Decipher’s recent attempts. :rolleyes" Enjoy!

3 Poisoned Arrows Orc
Possession • Arrow
Bearer must be an Orc archer.
Archery: Discard this possession to make the minion archery total +2.
Regroup: Discard this possession and exert bearer to wound a companion.
The Orcs of the Misty Mountains often tipped their crude arrows with various poisons to ensure a quick kill. Such was the case with the first victim of the One Ring’s seduction.

3Many Sorties Orc
Condition • Support Area
To play, spot 2 Orc or Sauron minions.
Each time you play an Orc or a companion is killed, add an Orc token here.
Archery: Discard this condition to make the minion archery +1 for every 2 tokens here (limit +3).
Skirmish: Discard this condition to make an Orc strength +1 for each token here (limit +8 ).
“There in the valley of Gorgoroth Anárion son of Elendil was slain, and many others.”

I guess it’s alright to leave "unbound" out of the regroup text, since Isildur was the Ring-bearer at that time. I would raise the cost to 3, though. Thumbs Up Neat card! Very Happy

In the skirmish text, I would add "and remove a threat". Thumbs Up

I’m not happy about this card. Obviously, it’s ten times more balanced than gothmog and frenzy of arrows, but I think it’s very dangerous. Maybe have on the card that they don’t add to the minion archery total until the regroup phase, or reduce the potency of the first ability. This card is screaming to be abused.

I opted (for now, at least) to go with AP’s suggestion and raised the cost of Poisoned Arrows to 3. Any better?

Well, we’re quickly winding down with Orc Orcs, but we’re not done just yet. Here’s a couple painful skirmish events. Enjoy!

2 Reckless Ferocity Orc
Event • Skirmish
Place X wounds on your Orcs to make the Free Peoples player place X wounds on companions (limit 4).
“Men were falling; for some of the greater Orcs leaped up, two at a time, and dead or alive with their weight bore down a Dúnadan, so that other strong claws could drag him out and slay him.”

2 A Shadow of Foreboding Orc
Event • Skirmish
Cancel a fierce skirmish involving an Orc or Orc minion to add a burden.
“‘And we bear burdens of worth beyond all reckoning.’”
