After a few days’ break, I will resume the set. I just finished Free Peoples Gollum, and I am moving on to Gondor. As stated in the opening post, the Gondor culture will include 6 rares, 6 uncommons, and 6 commons. Here are the first few cards! Smile


1 • Blade of Minas Tirith Gondor
Possession • Hand Weapon
Strength +1.
Bearer must be a Gondor knight.
Bearer gains hunter 1.
While you can spot a fortification, bearer gains muster.
U64

1 Strength of Numenor Gondor
Event • Skirmish
Exert a Gondor companion to make a Gondor knight strength +1 for each fortifcation you can spot.
C65

2 • Pippin, Guard of the Citadel Gondor
Companion • Hobbit
Strength: 5
Vitality: 4
Resistance: 9
Hunter 1. To play, spot a Gondor knight (or spot Denethor).
Maneuver: Exert Pippin and discard a Gondor possession to transfer a Gondor fortification from your support area to a minion.

Somewhat overcosted. Lower the cost to 1 or drop the exerting bit. Great card, though.

The spotting requirements to play Pippin should be on the same line as the hunter part. Also, if there is going to be a Denethor in this set, I think it would be really cool if you add: "To play, spot a Gondor knight (or spot Denethor)." Nice Pippin! Smile

Twilight cost of ’Strength of Numenor’ lowered to 1, and "or spot Denethor" added to Pippin’s text. Thanks for the reviews! Very Happy

Possession • Armor
Vitality +1.
Bearer must be a Gondor knight.
Skirmish: Exert bearer and discard this possession to make a minion skirmishing bearer strength -2 until the regroup phase (or -4 if that minion bears a fortification.)

3 I Will Lead You Now Gondor
Event • Maneuver
Exert Aragorn twice to heal a companion for each minion you can spot.

4 • Aragorn, Descendant of Numenor Gondor
Companion • Man
Strength: 8
Vitality: 4
Resistance: 8
Hunter 1. Knight.
Each time a Gondor skirmish event is played in a skirmish involving Aragorn, you may draw a card.

Well, unfortunately, Armor of the Citadel already exists, so you can either give it a subtitle (not recommended) or a new name. Also, change "condition" to "possession" in the game text. Not sure why you’d be doing wounding with armor, but there’s nothing wrong with it, per se.

Needs to cost 2, and you need to change the ability to avoid making the same mistake as Vile Pit. Wink

Oh, and you’re missing a ) near the end.

I made Aragorn DoN a knight, but your other suggestions have been overruled by previous reviews. Thanks for reviewing!
