Pretty nice, although you’d need a lot of mechanism for burden removal. Otherwise, you’d never get to use his ability.

1 Bag End Vintage Shire
Possession • Support Area
Ale. To play, spot a Hobbit.
Skirmish: Discard an ale possession from play to make an unbound Hobbit strength +2 (or strength +3 if that Hobbit has resistance 9 or more).

Pretty sweet! I like this one.

3They Come in Pints? Shire
Condition • Support Area
Toil 1. To play, spot an unbound Hobbit.
While the fellowship is at a dwelling site, add 1 to the number of cups you can spot for each unbound Hobbit with resistance 8 or more.
Cool! Although I’d lower the Resistance text to maybe 7?

Whoa, definitely has potential. Might be too powerful depending on how many ales you’re making, but it might be balanced.

I would increase the cost to 2, or add an additional cost to the fellowship ability.

yeah, he could be too powerful, but he does have to be resistance 7, so it could be balanced.

i would leave the twilight cost, and make it exert bearer and discard an ale. as it is, if you have 5 ales in play, that would make for some serious cycling.

Once again, everything I would have said has been said already. I’d opt for leaving Pint of Ale at 1 and adding more cost for the ability. Maybe even just make it "discard this possession (or 2 ales)".

A little overpowered, I think. I would remove the Pippin addition. Nice card!

You need to add • between Possession and Cup. I would put a limit of 2 cards on the text.

There is going to be a total of 4 ales in Ambush at Amon Hen, but only 3 of them are Free Peoples. So I think this would make Merry, Mischievous Halfling balanced as is. He is meant to work with Pippin, Troublesome Hobbit. I might give it a limit if I get some more opinions on the necessity of this.

Inserted another cost in Pint of Ale that fits the burden/resistance strategy for Hobbits and their ales.

but if they aren’t unique, you can have a ton of them out. i think the changes are good.

Very spiffy card! I like this one, although the strength bonus could get incredibly big. 2-3 copies of each different ale, that’s around 8-10 additional strength.

make it 8 or more IMO, otherwise he could get really strong really fast, though with merry’s like LC, I guess you are OK.
