I would raise the cost to . Neat card!

I’d put a maximum limit of 3 on it. Cool idea, though.

I raised the cost of Reckless Ferocity to and put a limit of 4 on it. Kind of a balance between AP’s and WLC’s suggestions. Let me know if that’s okay, guys.
Dáin’s DC Duos #228
Here’s a couple cards that might seem to have nothing to do with each other, but in actuality...well, they DON’T have any relation. But they’re the last purely Orkish cards I have, and the second one will transition us to a couple more like it (in the next Duo) before we get to this set’s Trolls. So, ignore that these seem completely random (because they are) and enjoy!
Banner of Barad-dûr
Possession • Hand Weapon
Strength +1
Bearer must be an or Orc.
Each time bearer wins a skirmish, you may add for each card in your support area (limit ).
The Lakemen and Wood-elves get their own banners in this set, for those who don’t remember, and the goblins got one too. This particular banner is very much like its cousin, Banner of the Eye, but goes about getting that twilight in a much different (and arguably much easier) way. Is it TOO easy? TOO good? You tell me. I dropped the normal strength bonus Shadow banners have to try and compensate...should I put it back in? Help me get a feel for this card, because I had a hard time determining how powerful it was when I made it.
•Laden With Rain
Condition • Support Area
Weather. To play, exert an Orc.
Each time the fellowship moves to a river, spot another weather condition to make each companion exert.
Regroup: Spot 3 Orcs and discard this condition to make the move limit for this turn -1 (to a minimum of 1).
“The rain lasted for four days; so when they came to the entrance to the Vales, between Lórien and Amon Lanc, Isildur turned away from the Anduin, swollen with swift water....”
Once again, an card that works not only with Orcs, but ANY Orc. And this one’s awfully good. Since it works with any and all Orcs, you can easily splash it in with this set’s and Orcs, who have some other weather conditions of their own (two apiece, if memory serves). Of course, the culture also has more weather cards that can work with this, and we’ll get into those next time. |

I think I’d want a strength bonus on this card, even if you end up having to raise its cost, otherwise it’s a hand weapon for minions that does comparatively little. I think you could probably give it +1 strength without issues, but I’m not sure.

Excellent, but the second ability is too easy. Make it, ’spot X Orcs to...’, maybe 3 or 5?

Uh...it DOES discard when you use the regroup ability. Did you mean something else? |

Thanks for the reviews, guys.
Dáin’s DC Duos #229
Here’s those other weather cards I promised. Once these get a couple reviews, we’ll move on to a certain three trolls. Enjoy!
Cold and Wet
Condition
Weather. To play, spot a weather condition and exert an minion. Plays on a site.
Each companion at this site who does not bear a cloak is strength -1.
Discard this condition at the end of the turn.
“Everything seemed gloomy, for the weather that day had taken a nasty turn....it was pouring with rain, and had been all day; his hood was dripping into his eyes, his cloak was full of water; the pony was tired and stumbled on stones; the others were too grumpy to talk.”
Glum and Wet and Muttering
Event • Maneuver
Weather. To play, spot a weather condition.
Spot 2 companions of the same race to make the Free Peoples player choose to exert one of them.
“Then the rain began to pour down worse than ever, and Óin and Glóin began to fight.” |

This is... SOOOO specific! Either make it good, or drop being so harsh on the requirements!

I don’t like seeing the word "wet" two times in a row. Also, again, it’s soooo weak... You could make the Shadow player spot 3 companions sharing a race and exert each one, nice flavor with a three-word title.

Very tough card to go up against, would definitely see meta changes! Good one.
