And now we move onto what I think is my last burrito, which is The Watcher in the Water. I’ve also reprinted the original tentacles and the new tentacles, so don’t worry about the loss of his (or rather ’its’) marsh and recursion abilities - for one thing, you’ll notice this guy doesn’t care about the site path.
• Watcher in the Water, Many-Tentacled Creature
Minion • Creature
Str: 11
Vit: 4
Sit: 4
Damage +1. Watcher in the Water cannot bear possessions.
While you can spot 3 tentacles, Watcher in the Water is enduring.
While you can spot 5 tentacles, Watcher in the Water is fierce.
While you can spot 7 tentacles, each creature is strength +3 and cannot take wounds (except in the skirmish phase).

I was thinking of changing the second ability to enduring. What do you guys think?
Id make him damage +1 anyway, swap the fierce for enduring and the damage +1 for fierce.

Why would I do that? Thanks for pointing that out!
Well, I’ve now finished my burrito characters so I’m now moving onto characters in personae as they appear at the end of the book, and the first one on my list is Eomer.
• Eomer, King of the Mark
Companion • Man
Str: 7
Vit: 3
Res: 7
Valiant.
While Eomer is assigned to a skirmish, each mounted Man is strength +1.
Fellowship: Exert 2 Men (or a Man twice) to play a mount from your draw deck.
Then Eowyn bade those that served to fill the cups, and all there assembled rose and drank to the new king, crying, ’Hail, Eomer, King of the Mark!’

Hardly! That would make him a Stables at any site! No, even more than Stables...
Two exerts needs to be it. One exert would be an automatic combo with Brego. |

Optionally, you could allow exerting a Man twice as a possible choice.... |

Id move the text around so it read:
While Eomer is assigned to a skirmish, each mounted Man is strength +1.
Fellowship:[/b] Exert 2 Men to play a mount from your draw deck.
I know thats insanely pedantic but removes any possiblity that the assigned bonus is only triggered for the fellowship phase if you do the ability. And it just seems right!
Cool though. |

Thanks all. I’ve switched it round and added the extra option.
Next in my list of characters under this theme is this one:
• Faramir, Steward of Gondor
Companion • Man
Str: 7
Vit: 3
Res: 6
Knight. Ranger.
Skirmish: Discard a fortification from play to make a Man strength +2.
... but Aragorn took the rod and gave it back, saying: ’That office is not ended, and it shall be thine and thy heirs’ for as long as my line shall last.’

Nice and simple. I’d almost say he needs a little more, like perhaps hunter 1. *shrug* |
