When the fellowship moves to any site 7, 8, or 9, discard Gandalf.
Archery: Exert Gandalf to exert a non-hunter minion. You may take the next archery action.
00R+99
Very, very interesting. Perhaps add a little more cost of some kind to the archery ability.
Also, it’s not necessary, but it would be cooler to change the strength +1 to a hunter 1. Or hunter +1 or something.

Gandalf is strength -1 for each of the following you cannot spot, Legolas, Gimli, Aragorn.
Skirmish: Exert Gandalf and spot a hunter companion to make a minion skirmishing that comapnion strength -1 until the regroup phase.

Hmm. I think the skirmish ability should exert the other companion as well, lest this completely overshadow Gandalf, Defender of the West.

Yowch. I agree with SoP: it needs a limit. 2 would be good, but 3 might be okay, too.

Again, I think SoP has a point. There should be some out to keep this in play.

I think you can change the "any site 7, 8, or 9" to "region 3," simply because those three sites will always compose region 3. Nice card, though.

Should read: "Gandalf is strength -1 for each of the following you can spot: Legolas, Gimli, Aragorn." Also, companion is misspelled in the skirmish special ability.

Agree with the others. I personally think it should have a limit of 2. Or, if you don’t want to limit it, give it a drawback. "Each time the fellowship moves, exert a hunter companion or discard this condition."

Make it a condition that Gandalf can bear. I like the Three Hunters incorporation that this culture offers.

Title should read: "He Will Put a Spell On Us!" Don’t get sloppy with the grammar. I’d make it exert Gandalf, though. Very nice cards, though. Worthy of a ! |

Mouth of Saruman, Resurrected Wizard is phrased that way because that’s the way Decipher phrases it.
I don’t think that my Gandalf will overshadow Gandalf, Defender of the West, because they are definitely not interchangeable. And Defender of the West is only a minimum of strength 7, while this one can get as low as 6.
On returned, I put a limit of 3, cause its appropriate for the three hunters.
Empowered, now alternative is adding a threat.
He Will Put a Spell On Us! now costs an exertion and has a fixed title. |

Thanks for the quick reviews!
Warning: The Ents are on the warpath. Beware stampeding trees.
That’s right, the ents are back with a bang! And they are BACK! These dudes are COLOSSAL! Not to mention that one of them is damage +3... Well, enough jawing. I know this is a lords of the great rings set, but hey, we can deviate a little. WRONG. The rings theme comes back, and Gandalf’s Ring, Narya, gives the Ents a little help (okay, so its not in the story, but I like ents. I can’t make a set without including them so I’m trying to make it fit…)

Lessened up Gandalf’s spotting cost, lowered strength and damage on Army of Fangorn, but also lessened up the spotting cost, (I though the card would work that high strength because of the spot 5 ents part, but I lowered it to 3). Lowered pump on the Onod of Fangorn, but raised his strength by 1. Dropped vitality but slightly inceased strength on Forest shepherd, he is the same cost as Treebeard, I thought he should have just as good stats, his ability to fit in the starting fellowship lowers his strength though. Enraged ent, strength and damage dropped, but twilight cost also lowered by .

That ability is awfully specific. Not that he’s useless without Ents--his captin 3 is pretty nice on its own--but it certainly pigeonholes him.

Missing its card type and class. Also, don’t forget to capitalize Ent and Hobbit in the text, as they are specific classes. For the assignment special ability, "this companion" should read "Onodrum Host," since the companion is unique. Bold defender +1 and it’s good.

To busy to get the rest of those Ent cards finished just yet, but here’s one for you.
Flaming Ent

It was entertaining to watch the flaming Ents run around like headless chickens, that is, until the dam was destroyed
