Done.
I’m kind of partial to #3 myself...it was the first one I had on there, I think. I’ll leave them where they are for now, though, so that people (including myself ) don’t get confused about the numbers. |

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

Nice and simple, but useful. I like lore #4 best.... |

Other lore options I’m considering (I guess the current lore is #1):
2.) “‘Why doesn’t Gandalf do something quick?’”
3.) “‘We hobbits ought to stick together, and we will. I shall go, unless they chain me up. There must be someone with intelligence in the party.’”
4.) “‘Then, Master Elrond, you will have to lock me in prison, or send me home tied in a sack. For otherwise I shall follow the Company.’”
I think 3 is good. |

I went with Lore #3. Thanks, guys!
I think we’re done with characters for now. I still plan to revisit some characters later, but let’s move to something else for a little while.
Here’s a couple events based around the "conspiracy" formed between Sam, Merry, and Pippin to go with Frodo on his quest. Enjoy!
Set of Deceitful Scoundrels
Event • Maneuver
Add (X) and spot X Hobbit companions to heal another Hobbit X times.
“‘But bless you! I give in. I will take Gildor’s advice. If the danger were not so dark, I should dance for joy. Even so, I cannot help feeling happy; happier than I have felt for a long time.’”
We’re Coming Too!
Event • Fellowship
Spot a Ring-bound Hobbit to play Merry or Pippin from your draw deck or discard pile and heal a Ring-bound Hobbit.
“‘But that will leave no place for us! We don’t want to be left behind. We want to go with Frodo.’” |

Here’s a suggested rewording:
Add (X) and spot X Hobbit companions to heal another Hobbit X times.
Looks pretty good, but it’s very similar to Hobbit Appetite.

I don’t know... it seems like this could get less powerful the more hobbits you have. It could be good for healing many wounds, but what if you can spot 8 other hobbits? Then you’d have to add 8. Maybe put a cap on it, or some way to choose.

This is a cool card. I don’t have a problem with it. |

Totally missed this card yesterday. He’s certainly reminiscent of other Pippin cards and could create some insane combinations with the discarding Hobbit strategy.

I love how you’ve incorporated Ring-bound Hobbits with unbound Hobbits. Nice work! |

I would raise the cost to .

Eh, what the heck? Here’s a couple wearable possessions. Enjoy!
•Mithril-coat, Precious Gift
Artifact • Armor
Bearer must be Frodo or Bilbo.
The minion archery total is -1. Each minion skirmishing bearer loses all strength and damage bonuses from weapons.
Response: If bearer is about to take any number of wounds, exert bearer to prevent all wounds to him until the end of the current phase.
“‘I have never seen or heard tell of one so fair. Is this the coat that Gandalf spoke of? Then he undervalued it. But it was well given!’”
•Bilbo’s Cloak and Hood
Possession • Cloak
Resistance +1
Bearer must be a Hobbit.
“They had been locked up as if they were very precious, but they were so patched and weatherstained that their original colour could hardly be guessed: it might have been dark green. They were rather too large for him.” |
