Yeah, I made a "Necromancer" Sauron with similiar stats (and mindset) for Lasting Alliances. No complaints, though it wouldn’t be a terrible thing to give him his "normal" 5 vitality. |
Best regards, Dáin, Vice Aftokrator of the Chosen Ones
Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

You’ll also notice that I did the same thing in the White Council!

Thranduil wrote: While we appear to be on this little detour into Shadow, here’s a probably less weird card, though it does support the rings above:
 • Sauron, The Deceiver
Minion • Maia
Str: 8
Vit: 5
Sit: 2
Enduring 1.
When you play Sauron, you may play a ring from your draw deck.
While in region 1, Sauron cannot be assigned to a skirmish.
Each companion bearing a ring is strength -2 and cannot be assigned to Sauron.
But Sauron gathered into his hands all the remaining Rings of Power; and he dealt them out to the other peoples of Middle-earth, hoping thus to bring under his sway all those that desired secret power beyond the measure of their kind.
to skirmish sauron? i think your current wording is incorrect. |

Let’s take a step backwards for a bit and return to the culture.
Skill of Feanor
Event • Fellowship
Spot 2 Elves to play a legendary card from your draw deck or discard pile.
In Eregion the craftsmen of the Gwaith-i-Mirdain, the People of the Jewel-smiths, surpassed in cunning all that have ever wrought, save only Feanor himself...
War Never Ceased
Event • Skirmish
Make an Elf strength +2 (or +4 if skirmishing an enduring minion).
When Sauron learned of the repentance and revolt of Celebrimbor his disguise fell and his wrath was revealed; and gathering a great force, he moved over Calenardhon to the invasion of Eriador...
Cleared of the Enemy
Event • Regroup
If you cannot spot a minion, spot 3 Elves to heal 2 companions and remove a burden.
Eriador was cleared of the enemy, but lay largely in ruins.
Hopefully there’s nothing too weird and controversial in that lot!

I would make it OR remove 2 burdens. |

Sound but id make it cost 1 cos the potential is for anything.

If you HAVE to give them burden removal this easy, make it 1 and cost 4.

I didn’t think it was that easy - they have to kill all the minions.

That aint hard. Gil Galad and Aiglos or the fact that they shoot a gazillion archery or the shadow has a bad draw with little minions. I stand by it Thran sorry. |

Okay toned that card down and increased the cost of the first.
Quite frankly, I don’t think we’ve had enough artifacts yet!
• Aeglos, Spear of Gil-galad
Artifact • Hand Weapon
Vit: +1
Legendary.
Bearer must be Gil-galad.
Gil-galad gains enduring 1.
’His sword was long his lance was keen / His shining helm afar was seen’
Making Gil-galad vitality 5 and enduring 2 (because of his own text as well)! Also, can I just point out that Decipher spelled its name wrong (silly D )
Blade of Ancient Wars
Artifact • Hand Weapon
Bearer must be an Elf.
Bearer gains "Stalwart - (at the start of each skirmish involving bearer and a minion of greater strength, you may:) make bearer strength +3."
I’ve had that kind of weird idea for a while. What do you think?
