I wanted to know if I could use Allies from different booster packs than sites, like for instance, my Leowyn, on my Rivendell Terrace. |
I currently have about 1,000 LotR TCG cards.
including 40 foil cards.
and who knows how many rares.
I'll have to count my rares sometime you know... |

You’re allowed to play the ally, but then the ally has no home site. This means that they can’t ever skirmish or participate in Archery.
Somebody correct me if I’m wrong, but I think that’s what it is. |

There is no format in which you can use cards from other blocks on FOTR sites. If you are using Léowyn in your deck, then your sites either have to be from King Block (and only if all of your other cards are from King Block), or your sites have to be from Shadows block. |

Okay, let me try to explain.
These are the formats for the game:
Fellowship Block: Only cards from sets 1-3.
Tower Block: Only cards from sets 4-6.
King Block: Only cards from sets 7, 8 and 10.
War of the Ring Block: Only cards from sets 11-13.
Open: All cards allowed, using Shadows sites, and there is an R list.
Expanded: All cards allowed, using Shadows sites, and there is an X list and an R list.
Standard: All cards allowed, using Shadows sites, cards from sets 1-3 banned, and there is an X list. When The Hunters comes out, cards from sets 1-6 will be banned.
So, using this method, the only formats in which you can use Leowyn is King Block, Open, Expanded or Standard. None of those formats allow sites from Fellowship Block. |

What exactly don’t you understand? I told you the formats of this game and which cards are allowed in those formats.
The only time you are allowed to use Fellowship block sites is if all of the cards in your deck are from sets 1-3.
Leowyn is not from sets 1-3, so you can never use her on Fellowship block sites. You can only use her in a King Block deck (when all cards are from sets 7, 8 and 10), or in an Open, Expanded or Standard deck. |
All cards do what they say. |

Do you understand that all sites have to be from the same block?
Do you understand that you can only use FOTR, TTT and ROTK sites in decks that exclusively use cards from that particular block?
Do you understand that all Open, Expanded and Standard games use sites from Shadows and beyond? |
All cards do what they say. |
