I’ve been working on this deck and I want to here your thoughts:

Gollum, Mad Thing x1
Gollum, Stinker x1
Captured By The Ring x4
They Stole It x4
Promise Keeping x3
Shelob, Last Child of Ungoliant x1
Shelob, Her Ladyship x1
Shelob, Eater of Light x1
Web x3
Fat One Wants It x2
You’re a Liar and a Thief x4
Nasty, Foul Hobbits x2
Final Strike x1
A Dark Shape Sprang x1
Horribly Strong x2
Incited x2
Hidden Even From Her x2

So far, I like it quite a bit, but I’m rethinking the corruption part of it. I might just want to go for straight wounding rather than wounding/burdening. What are your thoughts?

Cheers,
Pipeweed

Go with straight wounding and cut the corruption stuff. Some suggestions:

Keep all of your Shelobs as Her Ladyship (and make it so you have 4 total). This way you can avoid fighting some of the more powerful characters until you’re ready.

Instead of 1 Stinker, I would add 1 Dark as Darkness, so you can get a couple extra wounds in.

For even more wounds, I suggest adding cards like Desert Lord, Black Gate Sentry or Mûmak Commander, Giant Among the Swertings.

Evil-smelling Fens wouldn’t be a bad addition either.

All in all, your deck isn’t bad.
All cards do what they say.

That’s sort of what I thought. Shelob, EoL and LCoU aren’t really doing me much good, but Her Ladyship is. I might want to keep the Gollum, Stinker, because my Mad Thing is automatically either 8 strength or adds a burden, and Stinker could benefit from that, or I could just keep my Nasty Foul Hobbits. I would like a DaD though.

Thanks for the advice, and keep it coming Wink
