This FP side is still under construction, so feedback is greatly appreciated Smile

1x 9R+30 Smeagol, BoGS
1x 7R2 The One Ring, SaWtC

1x 13R149 Frodo, Frenzied Fighter (starting)
1x 5U115 Sam, Nice Sensible Hobbit (starting)
1x 13R142 Bilbo, Aged Ring-bearer

2x 13U151 The Gaffer, Master Gardener
1x 13U144 Daddy Twofoot, Next Door Neighbor

1x 11R173 Sting, Weapon of Heritage
2x 11S166 Hobbit Sword
1x 3U106 Bill the Pony
1x 2R105 Mithril-coat (Fellowship block

4x 1R308 Power According to His Stature
4x 8U29 Still Far Ahead
1x 4R304 Get On and Get away
2x 11C169 The More, The Merrier

2x 12R37 Come Away
1x 5U23 Follow Smeagol
4x 12R128 A Promise
4x 12U132 Sudden Fury

The strategy here is to survive the skrimishes, and then use Smeagol’s text to be able to double move. I’ve chosen this Sam, since his text fits very good with the survival theme of this deck.

I’m also trying to choke a little bit, so hopefully I will face few minions. The ide is to assign a minion to Bilbo, and then use Frodo to replace him in that skirmish. This way I can easily remove the 2 burdens added by Smeagol.

The Gaffer will heal Frodo from his skirmish exertions.

The biggest problem I see with this deck, is burden removal. I’m adding a lot of burdens (Smeagol, PATHS, followers), and need a LOT of burden removal. Luckily, corruption isn’t very big in my meta.

Swarms might be a problem too (especially old school Moria), but I think the recurring PATHS will be enough to let me survive here. Lurker swarms doesn’t bother me that much, since I have a lot of sitepath control, and can make sure there are few underground sites in play.

What do you think?

I've been playing around with something similar, see below:

Ring-Bearer

Smeagol, Bearer of Great Secrets
The One Ring, Answer to All Riddles

Starting
Sam, Great Elf Warrior
Frodo, Frenzied Fighter

Free Peoples

Sam, GEW
Frodo, FF
Bilbo, Aged Ring-Bearer

Hobbit Sword x 3
Sting, WoH
Salt from the Shire
Mithril Coat, Dwarf Mail (it's too bad this is unique, I'd love to add more dmg+x protection..)
Fishing Boat
Sam's Pack
Bill the Pony, Dearly-loved

Fates Entwined x 2
Sudden Fury x 4
There's Another Way x 4
Follow Smeagol
A Promise x 4
Poor Wretch x 4
Phial of Galadriel, Star-Glass (foil)
Gladden Homestead
Rare Good Ballast
Faith in Friendship

I typically bid to go first and then play Green Dragon Inn to get Bilbo out. Similar concept as yours but with a different focus. I've found I still eventually get overwhelemed easily by site 7 or 8, so I've been teaming it with my super swarm orc side..

It looks solid But you will defenitly have a problem with burden minnions I personly like swarm but the burden Nazgul. theres a card i cant recall right now but while you can spot a twilight Naz and the ring bearer has the ring on add 3 burdens. But my friend has a deck like this and its pretty good he still cant beat my Dwarf/MoriaArc deck though.

Still these types of deck are really good toward anything other than burdens Very Happy

In expanded format, Bill the Pony is restricted.

Home and Hearth might give some aid for the issue with burdens, considering you've got three hobbits to play during the course of the game. They're free, so they aid your choke, and are non-unique. But I think your burden removal is fairly strong as it is, given the amount that you're self-inflicting. Frodo Gamgee might fit as well using that strategy, if only to put into play and drop a couple burdens off deployed H&H's.

Makes one wish for a ringbound-bounce hobbit a'la Merry and Pippin... *sigh*

Not necessarially bearers, just ring-bound so they can hang out with this fellowship. And the bounce effect from Two Towers block would be superb.
