Decking out is good, imo. Every strategy you have in your deck is open to you.

Cept... if you throw wrong or are forced to discard some good cards... you have no options left Sad

Plus, knowing that I’m good at decking (or rather, my decks are good at it) means that I can spare to hold onto cards and not worry about too much hand cloggage... as I’ll cycle the rest of the cards fairly quickly.

Cobra: Thanks for the response, now just to decide between +1gig of ram, money towards my car, or this deck lol. Oh, and I have to wait for seige of gondor to come in :O

love the deck! have you thought about adding Hobbitses are dead?
There is a power in this world beyond any of us, and Jesus is that power and The Savior.

Cool this is my attempt to look cool.

The other cards are so powerful in combination with each other that any additions would just dilute the deck, IMO. Cool

Yeah, I looked through it and decided there just isn’t room for "it’s mine" or anything else really, it’s solid the way it is imo Very Happy

Oh, and Cobra, what’re some good sites to run with this deck?

Definitely Anduin Banks (for the edge against big fellowships) and Crags of Emyn Muil (in case you get a slow setup and need to stall at site 4 or something). Possibly Mount Doom as well, to prevent your opponent from staying alive via Cavern Entrance.

Apart from that, just keep Slippery As Fishes in mind, and probably lean toward low twilight costs. I paired this deck with a Hobbit fellowship that had no particular site path needs, so all nine sites were Underground, Mountain, or River.

With your Solo Smeagol fellowship you’ll probably want to focus on one type of terrain to get the most out of Safe Passage... shouldn’t be too much conflict there, but you can always sub in Chasm’s Edge for Slippery as Fishes if you find your site path being pulled in too many directions.

Hey, thanks for the tips. I decided against mount doom (friend uses uruks a lot, and nobody in my area uses much site-path manipulation...) but am ordering a cavern entrance Very Happy

Also, I see you got SoG in Very Happy, now I just need x1 copy of They Stole it to come in Very Happy

I overlooked the fact that there are no webs in stock Sad

I can order the other 31 cards I need, but will it be good enough as is until I can get the x2 webs?

Yikes, those sold out fast!

Web does make the deck significantly more consistent -- it allows you to play Gollum and Shelob a bit more often, and to do so without removing cards from your hand. (Nice to have more options for discarding with They Stole It.)

But I wouldn’t say it’s crucial -- just fill those slots with something else to help you keep those minions in play (more Gollum pullers? Evil-Smelling Fens? an extra Incited?) and you should be fine.

Hey Conor,

If I pull Liar/Theif with Incited, I’m allowed to immediately play it on the companion that just lost, right? I just want to clarify Smile
