can you explain your shadow side strategy a bit more?
also, i think you should add some more elven events to fuel cirdans effect. |

OK, there’s quite a few things you could do to make this fellowship better.
Firstly, you are mixing a lot of different startegies here. Remember to focus your deck. If you try to tech against everything, you’ll end up with a deck that loses to everything.
Assuming you want to build an archery deck, here’s a few hints regarding choice of companions.
Galadriel as your ring-bearer is a must, IMO. Give her The Ring of Rings, and she’ll be resistance 10 if you have 5 companions on the table. If you still are afraid of corruption, add Elven Cloak to your deck. In expanded format, ATAR and The Splendor of Their Banners is a good choice as well. Don’t forget that any pumps that works on an Elf, works on Galadriel!
Arwen, Queen of Elves and Men is a must start in an archery deck.
Your other starting companion, should either be Legolas or maybe Glorfindel (if you want some skirmishing power until you’re set up.). I use Legolas, Woodland Emissary myself, and allthough he’s not a natural archer, I like the ability to to a directed exertion. Combined with his bow (from Shadows), he is a great choice to play with cards like Nocked, reckless we Rode, and any cards with toil.
Well, time is running out for me, so that’s it for now. If you’re interested in more tips for your deck, let me know. |
I'm not stupid. I'm just unlucky when I'm thinking. |

The strategy is, there is no strategy. I built this deck a year ago, and it is BAD, I don’t even need to tell you how bad it is, I built it when I didn’t really understand LotR TCG. As you have probaly noticed, the deck doesn’t have an even amount of cards, I traded alot of them away, I used to have 120 cards in this deck. I have elven cloak, I will try to get the Galadriel ARB asap, I am trying an archery deck, I still need some help with the cards to put in.
I don’t really know where to go for the shadow side, I am thinking about gollum, but I am still thinking. I was up late one night and I changed the freeps to the Cirdan event stragegy, I need some more good pumps. Any thoughts? |

Here is a good Nazgûl corruption deck:
Shadow (34)
2x *Ithil Stone(9R+47)
1x *Ring of Rancor(9R44)
1x *Out of Sight and Shot(7R204)
4x Sense of Obligation(12U170)
4x Between Nazgul and Prey(8R67)
4x Keening Wail(11R211)
4x The Ring is Mine!(10U97)
4x *The Mouth of Sauron, Lieutenant of Barad-dur(12R118)
1x *The Witch-king, Captain of the Nine Riders(11R226)
4x *Ulaire Enquea, Thrall of the One(10R68)
3x *Ulaire Nelya, Third of the Nine Riders(11S222)
2x *Ulaire Toldea, Black Shadow(12U180)
Try to go second and use Nelya to abuse Courtyard Parapet as often as you can. Use Enquea and Between Nazgul and Prey to add tons of burdens.
This deck corrupts with astonishing frequency. |
All cards do what they say. |

I have a friend who has a deck like that. I think I’ll keep the Shadow until I can get enough cards for a gollum deck. |
