I have been fiddling around with this idea for a while and it just materialized a little while ago. The main strategy is, as you can see, TOKENS. The token adding is very useful for Aragorn, as he can make himself a beast if you can get out Final count and Strength of Arms. Then every time Legolas wins a skirmish he can make Aragorn essentially strength +6. Final count makes Legolas a beast too. As he keeps on winning, he keeps on getting stronger. And if you have Gimli out with my Axe is Notched, with Aragorn and Stout and Strong he can heal twice every time he wins.

Another side strategy is making everyone a beast. With Aragorn Defender of the Free Peoples, Gimli Lively Combatant, Gandalf Friend of the Shirefolk, all of them can easily become strength 10 or more.

Thonnas and Linnar are support to Legolas and Gimli, so that if the latter die, the former can carry on token adding,

The biggest stumbling block is getting vague pumps, pumps that work for everyone, no matter what culture. Inspiration fits just that purpose, as it also works incredibly well with Pippin, Wearer of Black and Silver. When the Skirmish Phase comes, I return Pippin to my hand, Place 2 wounds on minions, Play Inspiration. Summary, 2 wounds and +3 pump on any companion.

And yet another problem, Legolas is the weak link. To pump up Legolas in the beginning is vital to get the tokens out.

But, past all the problems, this deck could be one of the best decks out there. I am still working on it even as I type, and I hope you will give me valuable feedback to get me there.

if your using a token strategy, use well-crafted armor or gloin, son of groin, thats what i use and it works very well once you get a cycle goin.

Do you mean Linnar and Thonnas. yes I would like that, and the extra companions would help with inspiration. Thanks for the feedback Here’s a coin.

This is the best Elf/Dwarf token deck I’ve seen:

Fellowship (32)
1x *Thrarin, Dwarven Smith(1U27)
1x *Anduril, Flame of the West(7R79)
1x *Narsil, Blade of the Faithful(9R+34)
1x *Ring of Barahir(6R55)
1x *Ring of Retribution(9R9)
1x *Scroll of Isildur(9R36)
2x Sapling of the White Tree(9R35)
4x *Aragorn, Defender of Free Peoples(6R50)
1x *Gimli, Unbidden Guest(4C49)
1x *Legolas, Archer of Mirkwood(5P121)
1x *Agility(6C12)
1x *Final Count(4R69)
1x *My Axe Is Notched(4R52)
1x *Stout and Strong(4U57)
1x *Strands of Elven Hair(9R22)
1x *Strength of Arms(4U82)
1x *Uncertain Future(11U26)
3x Chamber of Records(15U3)
2x Seclusion(12U23)
1x *Asfaloth, Elven Steed(7R17)
1x *Axe of Erebor(4R41)
1x *Bow of the Galadhrim(1R33)
1x *Long-knives of Legolas(12R19)
1x Dwarven Bracers(12U5)
1x Hand Axe(2C10)

The synergy in this deck is amazing. Gimli exerts to pump Legolas, and Aragorn heals Gimli as necessary. When Legolas wins, Gimli heals and adds some Elf tokens. Aragorn uses those Elf tokens to win his skirmishes

Why Inspiration, and not Servant of the Secret Fire?

Because I don’t have Servant of the secret fire, but I wish I did.
