So, as you can see, the purpose of this Deck is to create a strong fellowship which can make a good Archery total and will also be able to survive a few skirmishes. Gil-galad is extremely strong figther and this deck helps him to show it. Arwen, equpped with Asfaloth, Gwemegil and a Bow is also a worthy opponent. Legolas and Glorfindal can prove useful too, and Cirdan is a true war machine when there are five or six events in the Discard pile. My favourite event - Forearmed, helps much to this deck - with some luck you can overwhelm the Witch-king - I've done it a couple of times:)
Company of archers is to tease your opponent who thinks it would be easy to play his conditions - well, it's not:)
The idea of the Shadow side is simple - to gain control over a few sites before the Opponent reaches site 6, so that a little later he will have to face a horde of stacked besiegers and Trolls played for free:)
The Shadow deck depends much on the number of threats though, so you must be careful against opponents who don't drop much threats.
The Grond (according to me, it's the most powerful Sauron card) really pisses off some players when they lose Narsil, Noble Leaders, rings etc.
Gorgoroth assassin is a weak minion but its brilliant ability to keep busy the most powerful enemy companions makes it one of my best cards.
Gorgoroth Keeper ids the best common besieger ever and I storngly recommend it to everyone who wants to try a Besieger deck.

I think you should try to focus your shadow side a little bit. Beeing a threat based besieger shadow you really need more ways to add threats, and since you won't be needing a lot of sites making this work, Gothmog really won't do much good.

Thank you very much for your opinion. It has a big value for me, because I like to share experince and ideas with LOTR players, and this is an excellent place for such activity. Indeed, some changes can be done, and I will try the things you suggested soon 
But I think this is the basis of a quite nice Shadow side, isn't it?
I'm waiting for other opinions and suggestions:) |

I see everyone of you is posting the Adventure path too, so I'm to recommend a few sites:
Of course,
Trollshaw Forest and
Caras Galadhon MUST BE IN this deck
I think
Hobbitton MArket,
Moria Stairway and
Slopes of Orodruin
can do some work too.
Unfortunately none of the new sites helps my poor Besiegers, so the sites must be orientated to support the Fellowship and maybe to add some threats.
I haven't got any knowledge over the Bloodlines' new set of Sites, but I hope they'll prove useful. |

In my besiegers deck I use 4 times Gorgoroth Soldier 7u278.
His ability to prevent wounds by discarding 2 cards can come in really handy.
It gives some cycling power and when you want to discard some items it's very nice to have some minions alive after the skirmish .
You can even assign the assasin on the right companion to survive his skirmish and use him for grond. |
