I played against Chris Lyons in the first round of day one, unfortunately, i bid 2 with gimli and couldn’t even draw an axe until site 5. He used some crazy courtyard parapet site manipulation strategy paired with some corruption orcs. He managed to corrupt me with courtyard parapet as i was moving to site 8.
Oh, well, it was fun!!
I ran my Troll swarm/dwarves deck and managed to pull off a record of 4-2 on day one of worlds. All four of my vicories were with my shadow. Apparently, most people have never seen my shadow side before. ![Wink](images/smiles/icon_wink.gif) |

Apparently, most people don’t read CobraCards’ strategy articles. Oh well, too bad for them! ![Very Happy](images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif) |

Yeah, that’s awesome! I still can’t believe the Refuge Rainbow carried the day, though...who would have thought? |

Maybe it did better because not many people expected to play against it... |

Refuge is awesome. How could it not? Neener. I win.
I took 2nd in junior world championship. Lost by SoS to Jordan Lyons, Chris Lyons’ son. He played the same deck his dad did, and I played my Refuge Rainbow, with a twist. I’ll post my decklist soon. |
