Doesn’t it say somewhere that Merry’s dagger from the Barrow-downs had something-or-other written on it for the downfall of the Witch-king? |

Maybe that was in Unfinished Tales? But it does ring a bell. Merry’s Westernesse blade was what allowed Eowyn to deal the finishing blow. |
