Example: if the Shadow player plays 3x Porter Troll all on the same turn, could the FP player reveal the same event for every one to avoid the burdens, or does the FP player have to reveal a different event for each one?

Since you play minions one at a time, you could reveal the same event each time a porter troll is played. That is why people generally use Bound to its fate to get rid of events before playing their porter trolls.

It really stinks for the Shadow, but it’s a great way to save yourself for the freeps for major trouble.
