Anyone bearing the One Ring is considered Ring-bound. Besides, every version of Frodo has the Ring-bound keyword printed on them, so there shouldn't really be much confusion there.

You can download the comprehensive rulebook from the Introduction to LOTR TCG right on this site Smile

Thanks! But actually Frodo son of drogo doesn't say ring-bound it only say fing bearer, and so does frodo RA. What does Ring-bound mean?

A companion is "Ring-bound" if he/she is the Ring-bearer, or has the Ring-bound keyword printed on the card. All other companions are "unbound."

These are "unloaded keywords," which means they do nothing unless something specifically targets them. It's just like being an Elf or a Wizard, there are no built-in rules but plenty of cards that reference these traits.

Check out that rulebook... Wink

Don't look for a place to buy it, it's free. Cool

You should be able to find it by clicking "LOTR TCG" the left, then "Introduction to LOTR TCG" and scrolling down a bit. You can also look for the link on Decipher's website.

Make sure you have Acrobat Reader (http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html) so that you can view the PDF file.

Allies, or followers for that matter, can not be played in your starting fellowship.

In LOTR TCG, allies like Tom Bombadil are not part of your "fellowship" at all, although they can participate in archery fire and skirmishes while at their "home site."

You can play allies during any of your fellowship phases, but since they are not companions they are never part of your fellowship and can't be played in your starting fellowship.

There's no support-area condition removal for Gondor as far as I can remember. You'll sometimes see Gandalf splashed into Gondor decks to help against conditions (and burdens too), and even without Gandalf you might consider Pallando.

What cards are you looking for? Smile
