Here it is, the Wonders of Middle Earth Contest Number Eight. Remember folks, no one’s been doing contests longer on these boards than your good ol’ friend theOmnipotentOne. Now, if you dont know what to do, dont fret, anyone can join. But this contest is slightly differant from the others on this forum. It’s more similar to the typical contest on the Decipher forums as there are approximately 3 cards to vote for each round, and 3 cards to create. You must vote for your favorite 3 cards [eg A, C, F] and then create a DC, Using the Mod Approved DC format, for each card name and culture I give you. you may if you want use my advice on what I had in mind for a card, but do whatever you feel is necessary to defeat your opponants in this here contest. Alright people, I’m locked and loaded, it’s been too long, heres the contest results from last time.

Response: If your Sauron minion is about to take a wound, remove a burden to prevent that.

AC’s Taniquentil:

Mountain. Each Elf takes no more than 1 wound during each skirmish phase.

Alright, we had a few of you come out last time and make cards for this contest. The cards that you guys can vote for are as follows:

Grond:
A: 0 •Grond. Mighty Mace Sauron
Artifact • Hand Weapon
Strength +3
Bearer must be Morgoth.
Each time Morgoth wins a skirmish, you may wound a companion. The Free Peoples player may add 3 threats to prevent this.

B: 2 • Grond, Morgoth’s Weapon Sauron
Possession • Hand Weapon
Strength +2. Bearer must be Morgoth. He is damage +1.
Skirmish: Discard this possession to wound the minion Morgoth is skirmishing.

C: 2•Grond, Wraught of Iron and Wood Orc
Posession•Siege Weapon
To play, spot 2 Orc minions.
Maneuver: Exert any number of Orc minions to play an Orc minion from hand for twilight cost -1 for each minion exerted. Discard this condition.
Skirmish: Discard this condition to make an Orc minion strength +3.

D: 3•Grond, Fingolfin’s Bane Sauron
Possession•Hand Weapon
Strength: +3
Site: -2
Bearer must be a Maia.
Shadow: Exert bearer twice to reveal an opponent’s hand. Play a Sauron minion at twilight cost -X, where X is the number of Elven cards revealed.
Fingolfin was crushed by the mighty mace of the Dark Lord Morgoth.

E: 4*Grond, Melkor’s Weapon Sauron
Strength: +3
Site: +3
Artifact * Hand Weapon
Bearer must be a Maia. When you play Grond, the free peoples player my discard 3 conditions from their support area to discard Grond.
Response: If bearer wins a skirmish, you may take control of a 2 sites, add 2 burdens, add 2 threats, or exert the ring-bearer twice.


Aiglos
A: 2 •Aiglos, Snow-point Elven
Artifact • Hand Weapon
Strength +3
Vitality +1
Bearer must be Gil-galad.
At the start of the assignment phase, you may discard an Elven card from hand to make Gil-galad defender +1 until the regroup phase.

B: 3 • Aiglos, Elven Spear Elven
Artifact • Hand Weapon
Strength +3. Bearer must be an Elven companion. If bearer is Gil-galad, he is strength +1 and damage +1.
At the start of each skirmish involving bearer, each minion skirmishing bearer must exert.

C: 2•Aiglos, Majestic Weapon Elven
Posession•Spear
Strength +2
Bearer must be an elf.
Skirmish: If bearer is Gil-Galad, you may exert him to make another Elven companion strength +1 and damage +1.
Maneuver: Exert Gil-Galad and discard this posession to make an Elven companion defender +1 until the regroup phase.

D: 2•Aiglos, Spear of Elven Lords Elven
Artifact•Hand Weapon
Bearer must be an Elf. Bearer is strength +1 for each of the following you can spot: Elendil, Gil-Galad, Elrond.
Gil-Galad’s spear was a truly fearsome weapon.

E: 2*Aiglos, Weapon of Elven’ Wrought Elven
Vitality: +1
Artifact * Hand Weapon
Bearer must be Gil-Galad.
Maneuver: Exert Gil-Galad twice to suspend the current phase. Assign up to 2 minions to Gil-Galad and resolve that skirmish. Resume the current phase.

The Palantiri:
A: 0 •The Palantiri Gandalf
Condition • Support Area
To play, spot a Wizard.
Each Wizard is strength +1 for each card in your support area with ’Palantir’, ’Seeing Stone’, or ’Ithil Stone’ in their card title.

B: 4 • The Palantiri Gandalf
Condition
Fellowship: Discard this condition and add 1 to reveal the top 4 cards of your opponent’s draw deck. If the total twilight cost of the 4 cards is greater than the number of your companions, you may choose to remove 3 burdens or heal 2 companions.

C: 3•The Palantiri Gandalf
Posession•Palantir
Vitality +1
Bearer must be a Gandalf wizard.
Maneuver: Exert each companion and discard this posession to make each Gandalf wizard strength +4 and damage +1 until the regroup phase.

D: 3•The Palantri, Seeing-Stones of Númenor Gondor
Condition•Support Area
Maneuver: Spot X Palantirs to reveal X cards from an opponent’s hand. You may discard a revealed card.

E: 7*The Palantiri Gandalf
Condition * Support Area
Toil 2. To play, spot your unique Wizard or Gondor companion.
Each time you play an artifact, remove 2.

Alright, let the voting commence. All you do is in relative order tell me which letter card is the best.

Then, you make a few cards of your own. You cannot create cards with out voting for 3 of the old ones first. And you cannot vote without giving me 3 cards before the end of the contest.

2 .Deep Places of the World Orc
Condition-Support Area
To play, exert an Orc minion. Each minion at an underground site is strength+2. Discard this condition at the start of the regroup phase.

2 Delved Mines Dwarven
Event-Fellowship
To play, exert a dwarf. Reveal the top 3 cards of your draw deck (or top five if the fellowship is at an underground site). Take a revealed card into hand (or two if the fellowship is at an underground site) and discard the rest.

3 Bundushathûr [Site]
Mountain.
When the fellowship moves to this site, wound a minion for each dwarf you can spot.

Shadow: If you cannot spot 4 minions, play an Orc minion from your discard pile; end your Shadow phase.

0 Delved Mines Dwarven
Condition • Support Area
To play, exert 2 Dwarves.
When you play this condition, spot an underground site; this condition gains the game text of that site.
Discard this condition at the start of the regroup phase.

2 Bundushathûr [Site]
Mountain. Each Dwarf and Orc is strength +1.
