This the deck i’m taking to my LGS’ next tourney (it’s expanded format)
FP:33
Starting:
1x Frodo, Courteous Halfling
1x The One Ring, Answer to All Riddles
1x Faramir, Captain of Gondor,
1x Madril, Defender of Osgiliath
1x Aragorn, Strider
1x Pippin, Wearer of Black and Silver
Companions:
2x Damrod, Dunadan of Gondor
2x Halbarad, Ranger of the North
Possesions:
4x Ithilien Blade
4x Ranger’s Cloak
1x Ranger’s Sword
1x Aragorn’s Bow, Ranger’s Longbow
1x Faramir’s Bow
1x Sting, Bane of the Eight Legs
Events:
4x Battle Cry
Conditions:
4x Invigorated
2x Gondor Bowmen
1x The Saga of Elendil
1x Boromir, My Brother
1x The Tale of the Great Ring
Basically the idea is to add threats with Aragorn’s bow and Ranger’s Cloak, and use Madril and the cloaks to make minions roaming, and blow the big ones up with Ithilien Blade. Saga and Boromir, My Brother give me even more vitality, whilst Invigorated,Damrod and Halbarad provide healing. Pippin is good for finishing minions off, and the Gondor Bowmen are there for anti-swarm. Faramir’s bow is brutal with Pippin.

4x Raider Bow
Events:
4x Red Wrath
2x Discovered
Conditions:

It’s your standard Beastering deck,add burdens with Small Hope and the Footman then use Captain’s with Polearm’s,Raider bow’s and Red Wrath to kill companions. |

For the Free Peoples, the only thing I would suggest adding is What Are They. It works very well in this type of deck.
I have a Shadow nearly identical to yours (main difference is that I only have 2 copies of Small Hope  ). Your version looks very strong. |

| The shadow is soo much fun to play. I considered What Are They? but I didn’t have room, I thought about playing them instead of the battle cry’s,but with the Ithilien Blades I have enough discarding,and also if (for some reason) the minions aren’t roaming,the battle cry’s can help me win the skirmishes, and won’t just clog my hand. |
