I just noticed that the Bilbo allies are Bilbo Baggins, ... and the companions are just Bilbo, ...
So, technically, since they have different names, could you use both of them at the same time? Here’s an example:
Bilbo Baggins, Retired Adventurer (ally)
Bilbo, Aged Ring-Bearer (companion) |

Yes! It’s the title that matters. Wow, that’s a big D slip up there! Unless they issued an errata...
That also means that you could exert Bilbo the companion to do Bilbo the ally’s action! And if Bilbo the ally skirmished as well as Bilbo the companion...that’s two burdens removed! |

| I think it is just be a slip-up, because technically you couldn’t exert the bilbo ally for his own effect. He’s Bilbo Baggins, not Bilbo, so... |

| If you’ll check the CRD, you’ll see that the first two Bilbos have been changed to just have the title of "Bilbo." |
