--- description ---
This deck focuses on using Denethor, Last Ruling Steward to wound minions.
--- end description ---
Total:33
Starting:
1x Boromir, Bearer of Council
1x The One Ring, Answer to all Riddles
1x Denethor, Last Ruling Steward
1x Aragorn, Strider
Companions:
2x Faramir, Son of Denethor
1x Elendil, The Tall
1x Eowyn, Lady of Ithilien
Possesions:
4x Sapling of the White Tree
4x Kingsfoil
4x Ranger’s Cloak
4x Ithilien Blade
1x Narsil, Blade of the Faithful
1x Scroll of Isildur
1x Ranger’s Sword
1x Aragorn’s Bow, Ranger’s Longbow
1x Faramir’s Bow
Conditions:
4x Gondor Bowmen
1x The Saga of Elendil
1x Boromir, My Brother
Strategy: You use denethor, last ruling steward to exhaust their minions with your multitude of possesions. you then use aragorn and faramir’s archery, plus gondor bowmen and eowyn to kill off their remaining minions.
If anything survives then Aragorn is a 10 and Elendil is a 14 so you should make it through.
Scroll of Isildur protects against corruption.
Faramir stops nasty things like Easterling Captains,Ninja Gollum and Ulaire Enquea, Thrall of the One.
This will probably be paired with the sauron threats i posted, as that shadow cycles well.
...thoughts? |

Seems good. Pretty solid to me. if your focus is wounding, why don’t add a couple of Bow of Minas Tirith? +1 strengh and help Aragorn and Faramir with archery.
I have no time now, but I’ll come back later. |

Will drop two saplings for 2 bow of minas tirith. I don’t want Boromir with one (exerting him is baad!) but Elendil and Denethor can then add even more archery at battlegrounds, and at worse it’s another possesion for Denethor to use. |

What about Garrison of Gondor? Maybe some more bows? Maybe a few vitality lessening Fortifacations? This is the first Gondor possession deck that I have seen. |

Garrison of gondor is nice, but there isn’t really room, and the fortifications involve alot of exertions on my part. I don’t really need to kill their minios, just the ones that are too big to beat,or have nasty effects i can’t handle, and at the moment I have enough for that.
I might drop one Faramir for the Garrision if I find I need the extra wound in playtesting though, but at the moment, provided it’s a battleground, then I can get 4 archery plus Denethor and Eowyn which should be more than enough. |

Maybe you could find room to Heirs of Gondor + Guarded City. You got lot of possessions here and this combination is very usefull. |

would like to,but i’m stretched for space as it is, and the deck’s focus is wounding, not skirmish winning,so whilst a near endless Heirs of Gondor would be cool, i think it’s best left for a noble leaders or something similar. |

Noble Leaders would be awesome. But one or two Heirs of Gondor would be better. |
