King’s Blade is inferior to Ranger’s Sword, especially in this instance. You already have the ability to swap out a Defender +1 for free with Aragorn, and so you don’t need to pay attention to your usage of threats with the Bow to get the benefit. It yields no Damage modifier, which even common blades can provide. It’s grossly overpriced at three twilight for what it does. Considering that this is Gondor, it’s not like being cheap is the in thing, but every little bit helps. The only plus is that it’s an artifact, which can yeild benefits against Corsairs as previously mentioned. |
