Spammers really are amazing creatures. You can learn all there is to know about their ways in a month. And yet, after a hundred years, they can still surprise you. |

What format are you looking for? There are some pretty abusive ones out there, but the most abusive are in Expanded/open |

The best ones are usually Sauron orcs with
4x Tower of Barad-Dur,
4x Desperate Defense of the Ring
1x Thin and Stretched
2x Desperate Measures
3x Orc Inquisitor
As a core.
Generally I like to play them with the initiative trackers who get double their printed strength when the Shadow player has initiative:
4x Orc Pursuer
3x Orc Chaser
3x Orc Stalker
2x Grishnak, Orc Captain
And for good measure
2x Orc Officer
3x Orc Butcher
2x Enduring Evil
This makes a 33 card shadow side that can do surprisingly well against a lot of different fellowships, although Pallando kind of ruins it. Another down side is that it takes a while to get fully set up so people have a tendency to be able to run against it. This was best in King block when people weren’t playing that much condition removal aside from Elves with Secret Sentinals and the occasional Grown Suddenly Tall.
Another discard shadow would be Lurker [orc] with the cave Troll Of Moria, Savage menace. |

For that deck, I’d suggest adding things like Gorgoroth Stormer, The Mouth of Sauron, Lieutennant of Barad-Dur, and maybe some Dead Marshes, just in case. |
