I’ve been playing around with the Frodo/Sam/Smeagol Synergy, constructed a rough deck just for the fun of it. Need some good suggestions.
Ring-bearer
10P121 Frodo, Resolute Hobbit
15R1 The One Ring, The Ring of Doom
Starting Fellowship
10P122 Sam, Great Elf Warrior
13R142 Bilbo, Aged Ring-bearer
11R51 Smeagol, Scout and Guide
Adventure Deck
13U190 Doors of Durin
11S238 Expanding Marshland
11S249 Neekerbreekers’ Bog
11S237 Ettenmoors
11U246 Mere of Dead Faces
11S245 Helm’s Gate
11U235 Dammed Gate-stream
135186 Caves of Aglarond
11S261 Valley of the Silverlode
Free Peoples (34 cards)
1OP122 Sam, Great Elf Warrior
13R142 Bilbo, Aged Ring-bearer
11R51 Smeagol, Scout and Guide
11 R 173 Sting, Weapon of Heritage
15C145 HobbitSword x2
11R171 Salt From the Shire x3
12R128 A Promise x4
15R148 Little Golden Flower x2
15U44 Herbs and Stewed Rabbit x4
15R40 Connected By Fate
13R153 Mithril-coat, Dwarf-mail
15U52 Swear by the Precious x2
15U39 Called to Mordor x2
13R155 Phial of Galadriel, The Light of Earendil
13U151 The Gaffer, Master Gardener x2
13U150 Frodo Gamgee, Son of Samwise
15R146 Hobbiton Brewer, Maker of Fine Ales
11R50 Safe Passage
15C46 Nice Fish x2
1R308 Power According to His Stature
Strategy
Ok pretty obvious, bid high enough to go first, pull Safe Passage with Damned-Gate, and start choking. Add burdens to transfer Followers to the comps, then remove burdens with Bilbo, Aged Ring-bearer, and beefed-up Sam w/ Sting, Weapon of Heritage.
Suggestions always welcome. |

But PATHS is just so dang cool...and it costs less, especially with Bilbo to remove burdens. |
