Okay, I think I just might have figured out what Destroyed Homestead is good for. But here’s what the question hinges on...

Does the final sentence of its gametext apply for the entire game? It would appear so, IMO...

So here’s how I think it works. It does depend a little on luck, but I think it could shut down Freeps Site Path manipulation.
    1. Use it to reveal a site.
    2. With luck, the site is a Site the Freeps likes to replace often, like Caras Galadhon.
    3. All sites on the Site Path with that title lose their gametext.
    4. Your opponent plays the site.
    5. It loses its gametext, because now it’s on the Site Path!

Of course, with more than one copy of Destroyed Homestead, you can prevent the recycling of multiple sites. So...could this be the way it works?

As long as Destroyed Homestead is in play, all copies of Caras Galadhon will lose their game text.

Any constant effects last only as long as the card that provides it is in play, unless that effect says it lasts longer.
All cards do what they say.

Wow, so that is a good card after all!

Just to clear things up: condition’s effects last as long as it is in play, and events’ effects last only during the phase it was played, unless it says other wise. Wink

It’s just...I was unsure if the last sentence was somehow limited, since it was in the same paragraph as the rest of the gametext.
