I included that last bit in the title to be sure that even though none of you (or almost none) know ANYTHING at all about Naruto, I wanted you to read this thread. That’s the point, really. I’m starting a DC contest that people will have to work a bit at to participate in, researching cards to make them the best out there.
Now, a lot of you may bypass this contenst anyway, so I’ll try to find another idea for a DC contest if this doesn’t get enough participants. I would love upwards of 10 people to join, but I realize that may just not be possible.
To keep with the ’mysteriousness’ of this sort of contest, I may not give you a specific card title (or titles, as it were) to make, only a particular subject or character to base your cards around.
I would like to, like Felipe (yah, I always steal from him), eliminate voting on these cards (since no one not participating will have any clue what these cards are about), instead having an open discussion about the cards and applying ranking accordingly, in referance to creativity, the power of the card for its rarity (underpowered, overpowered, or just right), the relevance to the topic I asked you to make cards about, and whatever else you can think of to critique. If you can’t find something wrong with someone else’s cards, or if you can’t defend your own, you’re bound to lose. Not meaning this should be turned into a card flaming festival, but still...
I would like to hand out 10 gp to the winner, 5 to second place, and possibly 3 to third and fourth places if enough contestants turn up.
Please don’t ignore this contest just because its obscure or totally out there. I’m trying to be unique, even if it may not work all that well.

| Not quite. Since this is a contest of Lotr-style cards based on naruto characters (much like, for example, the Narnia DC thread). |
