Has any one looked at the possibility of a Ranger of Westerness, Farimir Ithilien Ranger combination? You can use Farimir’s ability to play Ranger of Westerness heal either him or Frodo and play the next site! Plus since Farimir’s Twilight cost is minus 1 in your starting fellowship you don’t need multiple copies to try and get him early!
Here’s my version of this deck
Frodo, Protected by many
The One Ring the answer to all the riddles
Sites
The Prancing Pony (3)
Flats of Rohan (2)
Osgiliath Reclaimed (2)
Chamber of Mazarbul (2)
Slopes of Orodruin (2)
Slag Mounds (1)
Expanding Marshlands (1)
Fortress of Orthanc (0)
Crags of Emyn Muil (0)
Companions
Ranger of Westerness x4
Farimir, Ithilien Ranger x1 (starting)
Aragorn, Guide and Protector x2
Madril, Ranger of Ithilien x1 (starting)
Borimir Defender of Minas Tirith
Events
Pathfinder x3
Swordsman of the Northern Kingdom x4
War and Valor x3
End of the Game x3
Conditions
Man the Walls x1
Possessions
Gondorian Blade x4
Sword of Gondor x3
I found out that with this combination you can play Ranger of Westerness with Farimir’s special ability heal Frodo, then play the next site. Then you can use pathfinder in the regroup phase to play the next site. Since you can heal Frodo and play a lot of sites you can bid high to go first. Gondorian Blade is just awesome with this deck since all companions are Rangers they are always Damage +1, for the Sword of Gondors I put in a single Man the Walls to make the site number plus 1 for all minions skirmishing a Gondor companion. You might not agree with me but the reason I used Frodo Protected by many is his ability is to exert to gain muster then because of the decks purpose you can heal him in the next fellowship phase. I have Played With this Deck a lot and have found that I often play at least six sites. I haven’t Decided a bad yet so plz give me ideas I’m thinking of making a -1 move limit with Great Beasts and raiders with ambush so plz help me |

Looks pretty good! Have you considered splashing smeagol with safe passage for serious twilight choke? It also looks like an expanded deck, so consider adding Pursuit Just Behind, An Able Guide, Gondor’s Vengeance, or We Must Go Warily. Those cards are good for moving strategies. You could even use Last Throw with An Able Guide and Safe Passage to remove the twilight. Another companion to think about including is Duilin, Ranger From Blackroot Vale. |

thanks for the feedback elf lvr now that I think about it I’m probably going to trade the three war and valor’s for three of pursuit just behind or gondor’s vengeance then i can exertfarimir thus exhausting him then use end of the game to make him strength +2 then damage one then since hes a ring bound companion use his special ability to heal him I might trade out a Aragorn for a smegol then use safe passage instead of man the walls since hes also ring bound I can continually heal him as well |

If going for Safe Passage, be sure to include Dammed Gate-Stream in your site path to pull it early. |
