For those who don’t want to look it up:
Ring-bearer
...
The Ring-bearer cannot be discarded or returned to your hand, and skirmishes involving the Ring-bearer cannot be cancelled.
...
No, I didn’t make a mistake: the rulebook says ’cancelled’, not the correct spelling (canceled).  |

So technically...skirmishes involving the Ring-bearer can’t be "cancelled", but they can be canceled!  |

Although I think I’d be hard-pressed to find somebody who’d go along with that...I’m sure there are LOTRers out there who’d utilize their card-throwing skills if I tried to pull something like that...  |
