Total: 34/34
Boromir, BoC w/AtAR (better ring?)
Aragorn, S
Denethor, LoMT
Faramir, PoI
Elendil, TT
Narsil, BotF
The Shards of Narsil
4x Sapling of the White Tree
Scroll of Isildur
Ring of Barahir
Anduril, FotW
2x Gondorian Sword
3x Bow of Minas Tirith
2x Athelas
3x Flaming Brand
Brego, LS
4x Noble Leaders
Houses of Healing
Hard Choice
4x Still Sharp
3x Castimir of Umbar
4x Corsair Ruffian
4x Corsair Marauder
2x Black Numenorean
3x Corsair Boatswain
Grima
Enquea, LoM
3x Raider Halberd
Ships of Great Draught
3x Corsair War Galley
4x Black Sails of Umbar
Quelled
Fierce in Despair
Discovered
2x Red Wrath
Strategy: Get to site three first and pull 4 cards from my draw deck using Denethor and Hard Choice; preferably pull Elendil, The Shards, Narsil, and Anduril. After that, let the Shadow side go to work. Get Black Sails out and load up for taking out a free Castimir or two late in the game, discard possessions with Marauder etc... Use Halberd to increase twilight for Fierce in Despair and pump Castimir. Use the other events to get rid of possessions/conditions when necessary (might I need more of the condition discarders?). Grima gets rid of the biggest companion, of course. Bold Men and Grim doesn’t work too often, so should I switch it out for something? And is there anything that can make Castimir damage +1?? The goal is a Shadow win, but the FP can double (or triple with Narsil/Elendil) move if necessary.
Thanks!! |

looks solid with both sides. but with your freeps since you can only have one noble leaders out at a time consider adding 2 heir of gondor and cutting a bow of minas tirith and an flaming brand. |

I have considered adding Heirs of Gondor before... I’ll have to give it a try. Thanks! |

On the shadow...looks pretty nice...how about using Under Foot? I’m not aware of anything that can make Castamir d+1, but...try Corsair Brute for some extra wounds. And how about Corsair Ballista to pump Castamir even more? |

Actually here is my idea of such a shadow:
3x Castimir of Umbar
4x Corsair Ruffian
4x Corsair Marauder
2x Black Numenorean
3x Corsair Boatswain
Grima
Enquea, LoM
2x Raider Halberd
2x Ships of Great Draught
2x Corsair War Galley
4x Black Sails of Umbar
3x Quelled
2x Red Wrath
Discovered
Under Foot
I suggest you don’t use the gollum combo, it’s not that good.... |

Thanks for the help guys! I switched out Stampeded and Bold Men and Grim for 2x Red Wrath to better finish off companions. I’ve tried the Corsair Brute before, and he never seemed to work for me... so I’m opting to use the 5 twilight for Red Wrath instead. |

Yes, I forgot about Red Wrath. That’s a truly sweet card. You might want to consider adding in Raider Bow for some of that extra twilight you need for Red Wrath and Fierce in Despair. |

Thanks for advice! I’ll see if I can find some more room since I am always to the end of the deck by the last turn anyways.
Also, is there a better One Ring I should be using? |

Well, I’d recommend The One Ring, the Ring of Rings, which is pretty much the default choice for ARBs, because you don’t have to pile on burdens to use it...and you can use it at any time. But if you don’t have the Ring of Rings, ATAR is a good choice to give Boromir that extra vitality he needs. |
