I was wondering, has anyone here ever attempted to play a LOTR game over an IM client or the phone? If so how?

Thanks,
PW

That would require an incredible amount of trust. That would be only problem I would have with it. otherwise I have though of doing that just for the hell of it and being really bored.

Spammers really are amazing creatures. You can learn all there is to know about their ways in a month. And yet, after a hundred years, they can still surprise you. Razz

I played about 3 games with EL over IM. It was pretty cool. Definitely a lot of trust required, but I trust EL. I made a post on the Member’s Lounge each time I played, and I updated it with all the info about our Free Peoples and our support areas. It worked out very nicely.

Could you please explain the logistics and your method of playing in more detail AC?

I played AC over IM a few times, and my friend Josh once over the phone. I lost most of those games, but I trust both of them, I also trust that my decks simply aren’t as good as theirs. Very Happy

Adventure Path
