Another piece of the new Evil Men decktype based on support-area possessions. I’m reserving judgment on that decktype as a whole, but I will say that this type of event rarely ends up being any good. Having a card that can substitute for any minion you need seems pretty nice, but in practice it’s usually flawed in some way: the pool of minion options is too small, or your opponent just discarded the card they were stacked on, or you draw this early in the game before your support area is set up. So cards like Pandemonium can be versatile, but IMO they add more risk than they’re worth.

Rapt Hillman.

He can control sites at the start of maneuver, and be stacked on a support possession before your opponent gets to liberate. Then, you can use this card to play him again and control another site. Good under the right circumstances, IMO.

Sweet card, this is what makes Men possessions really playable. It makes every Men support area possession into a Goblin Swarms! And there aren’t a heck of a lot of possession discarders (barring Throne of Minas Tirith) in many cultures...

Except that you need to play other cards to actually get minions off of those possessions. Rolling Eyes Goblin Swarms is good because it comes with Pandemonium built right in, as many copies as you need!

A single Pandemonium doesn’t have that sort of efficiency at all. Unless you can quickly and reliably get a lot of minions stacked, I think you’re better off just playing another good minion, instead of wasting deck space on a card that doesn’t do anything on its own.

Of course, I’m always prepared to be proven wrong... Wink

I am inclined to agree with both of you, it really depends on the situation, so far my favorite part of it is the title. Its weird all the spelling mistakes that have cropped up, Pippen, Stamped etc.

I don’t like it... especially the lore: "Few could survive the oncoming pillage of the Dunlending’s savage stamped."

Stamped? Eh?

LOL, didn’t notice that one. Should be "stampede," I assume.

Well....I think this is just another card that breaks the rule of four. Eight Stampeding Chiefs? (if its as powerful as D is implying)

Shadow doesn’t have a Rule of 4...

How could you have eight Stampeding Chiefs? You can only put 4x in a deck.

I believe that that is the rule that NB was talking about.

Pandemonium is more like Host of Thousands than Goblin Swarms. I don’t like Pandemonium all that much, but I suppose it could be a fairly easy way to play your main minion 8 times.
