Looks like a pretty sweet card for Noble Leaders decks! Keeps the tokens flowing, and in certain matchups it can remove crucial Shadow possessions to boot. I used to run Derufin in my Noble Leaders decks as protection against Web and Grond, Hammer of the Underworld; Throne of Minas Tirith will serve that function much more effeciently.
I wouldn’t put this on the same tier as new RoS cards like Anduril, Sword That Was Broken or Shadowfax, Greatest of the Mearas, but it’s definitely playable. |

Ring-Bound rangers, anyone? A IB like deck that kills in the skimish phase instead of the manuever would toss all those extra tokens on houses of healing, to heal those exertions neccessary to kill the minions. However, the circle goes around, exert to discard a minion and heal. Or maybe pile up on Heirs of Gondor and use a show of force by overwhelming Sauron. (talk about physching your opponent out!) Great card. |

Man, I need this for my Noble Leaders deck!
Since it’s an artifact, it’s not going to be going anywhere; as far as I know, the only Shadow card that can discard it is Grond, but Throne of Minas Tirith can discard Grond! Another plus about it being an artifact is that it helps out with Narsil and Scroll of Isildur.

Damn, and i was just etting excited!
Seriously now, this card allows in numerous ways (noble leaders, houses of healing, telepathy-and that event from RotK that adds tokens) Gondor to destroy any possession based shadow. |

Guarded City?
Wait, that’s not from RotK, but it works!
The one that reveals five cards and adds tokens for the fp cards and threats for the rest. But guarded city works as finely, good point. |

Hidden Knowledge, you mean? Funny, the picture even matches! Guarded City would be better, IMO. |

it kills.
Bye bye corsairs. You get a few tokens on cards and their best ships go up in smoke. This card is just beastly good. Another use, if you are losing a skirmish bye only a few points and the minion you are skirmishing happens to be bearing a hand weapon, bye bye weapon. There has got to be a way to prevent ferny with this, but i can’t think of one. |

Fourth Level + Throne of Minas Tirith. Exhaust Ferny with Fourth Level, then remove three tokens to discard Pavise. Bingo! Ferny is dead! You can also use other cards to exert him to death...he’s also susceptible to wounding, now! |
