A strength +3, damage +1, fierce-giving pump that stays on the table? Holy cow!
This only works in combination with specific cards -- namely Saruman (preferably one who’s not shy about skirmishing) and the Deceived Wizards. And you’ll often give significant combat bonuses to an opposing Gandalf or Radagast. Still, Throne of Isengard seems like a pretty solid card, and a very good reason for the new combat-ready Sarumans to find their way into decks. |

Combo here. Coldly still and pavise. Saruman explodes by playing big possessions, and is strength + 3 and damage + 1.
Or Coldly Still in a corruption deck with a war trident/long battle bow and he’s easily strength + 10 and damage + 1.
And a deceived wizards deck would rock! Especially since you can use them all every site! And Alatar Decieved is strength 14 and damage +2. |

I can see this as a nice combo with the culture. The new culture can’t gain fierce as easily as could, so this new Throne can help out there. And Saruman is already usually included in decks, so you won’t have to worry about adding tons of extra cards just to get a fierce bonus. |

I see one drawback of this card, if you are facing Radagast or Gandalf they get a nice little bonus. Otherwise a must have in any deck with saruman. And another artifact for me to get. Hey with the Isengard saruman for 3 twilight you could have 13 strength Damage +2 fierce guy with his staff to allow him to skirmish. except since his staff costs 2 and same as the throne it would be more like 7 but those stats are nothing to sneeze at, |
