Interesting gametext on this card. It sort of conflicts with itself; if you want the strength bonus you can’t use the maneuver ability, and vice versa.
Without knowing much about this new support area possession sub-strategy, I would guess you’re not very likely to have more than three minions stacked on possessions at any given time, especially not during the maneuver phase (presuming you want to play some of them during the Shadow phase.) If that’s a correct assumption, the maneuver ability is pretty much useless.
Although, it does interact nicely with Ceremonial Armor by immediately re-stacking itself...
The strength bonus looks much better. This minion can be a basic 9/2 for 3 twilight (a hair under par), or very likely an 11/2 (solidly playable), or an 13/2 (very efficient indeed), or maybe even a 15/2 or better (wheee!). Provided that the support-area possession strategy he combos with isn’t horrible, I’d say Sunland Trooper is a pretty nice card. |

he is very interesting. the title is interesting. Overall I think he is pretty good, could work well in a swarm and there may be a lot more cards that involve stacking coming out. |

Spammers really are amazing creatures. You can learn all there is to know about their ways in a month. And yet, after a hundred years, they can still surprise you. |

notice that he discards himself in the manuever phase. That stacks him on Ceremonial Armor. Then he discards himself off there in the same phase and adds double twilight. Anyway, he’s also a great tank with D’s new strategy. He will definitely be able to explode. |

Well, this would only work if you had 2 copies of him, since you can’t use his maneuver ability while he’s stacked on the possession.
If we get another possession for minions to be stacked on, this guy could easily become a 20+ strength minion for only 3 twilight. |
