Unlike the other "White Hand" minions revealed so far, White Hand Legion actually has great stats. The only trick is getting him into play -- the Uruk-hai are not a threat-oriented culture, so you’ll need a gift from the Free Peoples player or else a splash of something else (Gollum?) in order to play this minion with any regularity.
Another option would be exactly the reverse: splash White Hand Legion into a deck that’s good at adding threats. But those types of decks will probably have better uses for their threats than this guy.
Not a bad card overall, but lack of synergy with its culture prevents it from being too good IMO. |

as said before we haven’t seen all the cards. I will reserve judgment until IC if any threat adding isengard cards have been added. But I think it could become very good especially with those stats I mean 6 twilight for 17 strength and 3 vitality plus Damage bonus, I think Uruks will finally become playable! |

Wow! Killer card. I can’t wait to use him. His twilight is pretty low for the strength you’re getting to. I wonder if RoS is going to introduce threat mechanics to the Uruk culture, or if he’s meant to be a splash. Grishnakh, for example? |

This would be a great splash. Combo him with Throne of Isengard (or Uruk-hai Rampage in Expanded) and he’s twice as good. |

yeah, but with uruk-hai rampage his twilight cost goes up to nine in order to fight two skirmishes.
Uruk Vanguard still rules! (especially with Suffered Much Loss) damage +2 and fierce, and you don’t have to pull threats.
You can’t splash with Grishnakh, though... |

Not if your opponent’s followers add twilight (Pallando, for example). |

good minion for a splash, but the cost to play makes this not such a great card . impossible to play against a solo, but still, a good minion. |
