My own rankings would be very similar to Bib’s; I might switch the top two and/or the bottom two, though.
Saruman, Coldly Still will provide a huge boost for Evil Men possession decks. Saruman, Servant of Sauron provides a cheap, useful effect that can be easily splashed into any Shadow. Both great cards.
Saruman, Master of the White Hand and Saruman, Curunir have text that is interesting but not all that useful. Plus, Uruk-hai decks should be running Saruman, Agent of the Dark Lord instead, which means these two new versions don’t really have a home.
Saruman, Instigator of Insurrection is somewhere in the middle, not great but not bad either. He’s a cheap, splashable weapon against large fellowships. |
