i was just wondering if Staff of Saruman, Fallen Istar’s Stave could play on gandalf or radagast because it says "bearer must be a wizard"

| ok, another question. if my opponent plays a Saruman and it is the only minion left when the regroup phase comes, can i discard the staff to take my opponent’s Saruman into my hand? |

HEEHEE!! that would be a great mind thing goin’ for you if you are playing someone who has never thought about that before. all of a sudden a  artifact is on a companion and i end up with his minion. i love it. |

right, but i wasn’t sure if i was even allowed to take an opponent’s card into my hand, or if shadow cards could play on freeps cards.

Shadow cards can most definitely play on FP characters, otherwise Weary, Desperate Defense of the Ring, Wielding the Ring, etc wouldn’t work.
Just remember that if a card says you can do it and there is no rule prohibiting it, then you can do it. This applies to EVERY card in the game. |
