Sweet Elf card is all I can say

Looks like a better version of Lorien Swordsman.
An easy 11 Strength with a Sword of the Fallen while skirmishing a wounded minion. And that minion will be minus one strength thanks to Sword of the Fallen.
And he is gonna be in a starter deck!

Great card. Not quite as good as a lorien swordsman, because each minion skirmishing the lorien swordsman is strength -2 for each wound on that minion. But still a good card. 4.

But with sword of the fallen, it would be awesome, because he can exert to exert that minion.

One of the better Elves I’ve seen in a while, and while I usually don’t pay much attention to rarities, the fact that he’s a starter means he’ll be easy to get to. Great card. I give it a 5.
Best regards, Dáin, Vice Aftokrator of the Chosen Ones

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!

Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North!

Wow... this is one of my favorite Elves ever. Against a wounded non-hunter minion, he has 10 strength (which is strong for an Elf!). And that wounding ability rocks combined with Elven Guardian x4. That’s a lot of wounds flying around, and Elven Guardian gets a bonus from fighting wounded minions too.

And since they both are starter rarity, they are very easy to get. I might just have to buy that deck...

Looks like a solid card to me. I said the new Elven Guardian could make a great fifth companion for a Three Hunters deck; Orophin, Silven Elf beats the Guardian for that role IMO, with more potential strength and an arguably better ability.

Imagine a deck full of Elven Elven hunters... Figure out a way to deal with multiple threats and exertions, and you’ve got a LOT of Greenleaf-style archery at your disposal.

cobra’s right. I have a feeling after this set elven hunters will explode. Hearth and hall could end up being seriously good with these dudes.
I just plain love this guy.

Well, that takes care of threats all right! Very Happy

As far as healing goes, Elves are obviously good at that already (Shadow Between, Nenya, Ring of Adamant, Old Forest Trail, etc.), but when every point of vitality gets you another directed archery shot, something more dramatic would probably be welcome. Maybe Farewell to Lorien. Maybe even Galadriel, Sorceress of the Hidden Land, to heal up your Elves for the double-move and help you use Into the West at the best possible times.
