Here’s some thoughts for a Dragon shadow race... I have some of the evil birds too that hung out around the cave...
Minions 5 (but 2 versions of Smaug)
(3) Spies of Smaug
Strength: 5
Vitality: 4
Sight #: 4
Ambush (1)
Discard this minion if underground.
Smaug is not roaming.
Assignment: Exert Smaug to assign this minion.
Regroup: Exert this minion to discard a possession or artifact.
(2) (unique) Evil Bird (I know the name sux but it’s just a thought )
Strength: 4
Vitality: 3
Sight #: 4
Discard this minion if underground.
Assignment: Exert Smaug to assign this minion.
Maneuver: Reveal the top card from any players draw deck. Discard Evil Bird to discard X possessions or artifacts where X is the twilight cost of the card revealed.
(4) Dark Cloud
Strength: 7
Vitality: 4

Shadow: Play Smaug from your draw deck. His twilight cost is -1 for each (dragon) possession you can spot.

Skirmish: Play a (Dragon) possession from hand to make Smaug strength +2.

Each companion skirmishing Smaug loses all strength bonuses from possessions.
Responce: If Smaug wins a skirmish and the character was not killed discard all cards bourn by that character.

Plays on a companion (except for a Hobbit).
Bearer cannot bear possessions or articacts.
(3) Dragon Breath
Plays on a companion (except for a Hobbit).
Assignment: Assign bearer to Smaug. The free peoples may discard a possession bourn by this charachter to prevent this.
(0) (unique) Devistated Lands
Plays on a sight.
While at this sight each character is resistance -2. Discard this condition at the end of turn.
(1) (unique) No Legend
Shadow: Play Smaug for your hand to place a (dragon) token here.
Skirmish: Smaug is strength +1 for each token here (limit +3).
(0) Smoke Arises
To play spot Smaug.
Regroup: Discard X cards from hand where X is Smaug’s vitality to return him to your hand. Discard this condition.

Bearer must be Smaug. To play discard 2 (dragon) possessions.

Bearer must be Smaug.

Plays to your support area.
Maneuver: Discard a (dragon) possession to and remove (2) to make the free peoples chose to either discard a possession or add 2 burdens.

Plays to your support area.
Skirmish: Exert a (dragon) minion to add (1).
(1) Useless Treasure
Plays to your support area.
Regroup: Exert a (dragon) minion to make them gain Muster until the end of the phase.

Response: If Smaug kills a companion add a burden.
(0) Blazing Fires
Response: If Smaug wins a skirmish add (3).
(1) Once We Get There How Do We Kill It?
Maneuver: Discard a free peoples Possession or Artifact.

Assignment: Prevent a companion from being assigned to Smaug.
I’m thinking about making a whole block for the Hobbit that would have 121 shadow and 121 free ppls with a new ring but this is all I got for now. |
