I’m curious. How does everyone here determine card value? I’ve been basing it on Cobra’s prices, but I realize he has good prices and sometimes runs out of something because of it. So I also take in account how often something is out of stock.
I ask because NBarden and AP have been working hard to trade with me, but they are coming up woefully short each time. |

It also depends on how free you are with your cards. I traded with Corvus, and he gave me Madril, Defender of Osgiliath with tons of other cards that I needed, while I gave him Legolas, Greenleaf and The Bridge of Khazad Dum (FOIL). I think I got the better end of the deal.
On the other hand, people who are tight with their cards (like me) tend to go more with a compare prices and maybe give a little more than your share for what you need (or a little less...). I don’t use this system, because I’d rather have an uncommon like Trust Me As You Once Did ($0.35) than a rare like Mordor Enraged ($0.75) (unless I have a trade in mind with M_H ). So I tend to go for what I need versus what I want and make it sound reasonable. I don’t really check the prices, but I outta do that...good idea. |
