The first ability on this guy is rather useless, since the FP is the one who chooses which card to stack. Most of the time, they will simply put one of the cards they will want to keep for their next Shadow phase anyway. Only if you get multiple wargs and warg-riders out will the first part make any difference.
The second ability, however, may just allow you to have multiple wargs out! Recycling is always good. |

Geez, big mistake. I feel that the CRD is going to double in size, particularly the individual card rulings.
At least the lore is different from that Dunlending guy. It has quotation marks here. But still...."Argh!"? What kinda lore is that?
Picture is good though...
And why is the poll question different? |

Now come on! It’s one of the best lores EVER! I’d DEFINITLY want a card with ARGH! as a lore! I’d laugh my ass off, going "Arrrrrgh!" every time I played it! But what the HECK they meant with EXERT BEARER?!? Geez, those AMATEURS! No wonder their game is dying! |

holy... this can’t be serious... i don’t know what to say, it’s embarassing that every card’s got something wrong about it. |

Oh good Lord. Come on, Decipher. Have they handed off the writing duties to a bunch of monkeys?
The card itself gets a 3. Kinda nice, but not spectacular. |

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!

The Shadow exertion ability on this guy (I’m reading it as "exert this minion" for now) is pretty sweet, especially considering you can use it multiple times if the first Warg is played on him. In a combo-oriented decktype that needs to consistently play both wargs and riders to function, Orkish Warg-master will be a staple. Maybe not a 4-of since he’s unique, but I’d run 2 or 3 of this card to ensure that I have the right Wargs when I need them.
The first ability isn’t quite so terrible when you consider that Orkish Warg-master is likely to produce 2 or 3 mounted, fierce minions, which is a lot of potential skirmish wins. There’s a decent possibility of forcing the Free Peoples player to put his entire hand back on his draw deck, which prevents him from cycling any dead cards, and also rules out regroup events that turn.
Still, I’d say it’s "moderately terrible." The lack of a good ability outside of replaying the wargs prevents this minion from being a 5 in my book, but I’ll give him a 4. |

Once they fix this guy, he’ll be very nice! Just imagine the potential with this guy and the now-cliched Scouting Orc combo. Vicious Warg whenever you want it!! |
