This minion’s twilight reduction effect for -culture mounts could be quite useful. Play a few Wargs alongside Orkish Traveler, and the twilight savings more than makes up for his poor stats.
The skirmish ability probably won’t be used all that much, but could kick in for "flood" situations, or against fellowships that pack a lot of skirmish events.
All in all I’d say Orkish Traveler is a good card, but Warg decks have so many great cards at their disposal that I’m not sure this minion will make the cut. I’ll give him a 3. |

Combo a couple copies of this Orc with Threatening Warg, and you can mount up your entire army on Wargs for free. Yowza!
5 from me, just because his twilight reduction ability is exactly what I was hoping for. |

Wow, that is a sweet combo, and something I hadn’t considered. Make that 3 a 4. |

Yeah, this is one more card that really makes the new Wargs downright nasty. An easy 4. |

Sweet card! 5. It definitely gives the orcs a benefit, and if you’re fighting an outright explosion (i.e: Ents), the strength +2 bouns could be nothing to laugh at. Or you could just mount him on a cheap warg and use the extra twilight to pump him high. |

There is that new Orc card that makes companions skirmishing mounted orcs exert or add twilight. This card can work with that... sorry, I forget the name right now. |

Indeed, an excellent combo with A Defiled Charge!! That was the reason they made that card.
I love that cost reduction for the wargs!!! This deck is getting to be just plain nasty!! |
