Hi,
I’m looking for an idea for an Expanded Format Free Peoples deck. I’ve got an extra Shadow side, and I just need a Freeps side to pair it with. Here are my current decks (all Expanded except for the Elven Hunter deck, which is Standard format):
Multi-cultural Wounding /  Swarm
Frodo-Sam-Smeagol Wounding & Choke / Beasterlings
Noble Leaders / Morcs
Dwarven Drawing & Choke / &  Swarm
Shire Followers /  Beatdown
Anarion’s Events / Moving This Way Nazgul
Sudden Fury & Saved From the Fire /    Corruption & Beatdown
Rohan Beatdown /  Site Control
Elven Hunters / Advanced Uruk-hai
G for Trust Me / Shelob, Eater of Light
And then I’ve got  site control for my extra Shadow side, as well as a Ninja Gollum that pairs with my Saved from the Fire deck and a couple of no-rares Shadow sides that can be paired with any Freeps side if I’m playing against a beginner.
So, please give me a suggestion for a new Free Peoples side. Any especially cool suggestions (as well as the Freeps side I eventually choose) will get a GP.

 skirmish cancellation is a fun deck to run. Sam, Steadfast Friend and Merry, The Tall One and Pippin, Brave Decoy, 4x Measure of Comfort, Salt from the Shire, Crouched Down, G for Grand, and Daddy Twofoot, Next-Door Neighbor with burden removing. Hypothetically, you could get some of your companions up to resistance 16, and then cancel the skirmishes with Crouched Down. Oh, and 4x Tom Bombadil, The Master.
Maybe run Pippin, Woolly-Footed Rascal and Merry, Learned Guide instead. 4x Home and Hearth, and you discard Merry and Pippin, play them back to remove 4 burdens. |

With G for Grand, you also need Gandalf. I think your best options would probably be a fighting and/or strength boosting one. Gandalf, Defender of the West would pretty much always be strength 9 and Gandalf, Leader of the Company would give a pump to the Hobbits early and then be strength 9 himself later. Gandalf, The White Rider is a good option too, as he and Pippin/Merry could exert to make Gandalf strength 10 and replace either of those unbound Hobbits. Pippin, Brave Decoy would make an intriguing combo there, essentially combining their text.
Also, for a RB, you may want to consider Frodo, Hope of Free Peoples to add a lttle extra threat removing ability. A couple copies of Nine-fingered Frodo and the Ring of Doom wouldn’t hurt, either, especially with Daddy Twofoot, Next-door Neighbor’s event-grabbing ability. |

I think I might pass on another deck with Gandalf and Hobbits... my Saved From the Fire deck and my G for Trust Me deck both use Gandalf + Hobbits. 
I’ll consider Hobbit discarding though. It might work out nicely. I’m definitely still open to suggestions though, so keep ’em coming in.

knights are fun, as is dwarven discard, though it only really works with sauron discard. Ents are always nice  . |

I just remembered that I have a cool decklist for Solo Frodo (and an article mostly made about it). So I guess I’ll make that deck.
I now have a whole lot of Wants, because I’m finishing up 2.5 decks I made. Check it out; you’ll probably have something I want.  |
