Hey guys. I wanted all you DC-makers to give me some help with this. I want a new keyword for my DC set that focuses almost entirely on the  culture, and their sneakiness and thievery. Maybe it could apply to  too.
So, I’d like a keyword for characters, Thief.
My only problem is figuring out what this does.
Any suggestions? |

Hmmm. A few suggestions:
Thief X. (When you play this character, you may reveal X cards from an opponent’s hand.)
Thief X. (At the start of each skirmish involving this character, you may reveal X cards from an opponent’s hand.)
Thief X. (When you play this character, you may discard X cards from an opponent’s hand.)
Thief X. (At the start of each skirmish involving this character, you may discard X cards from an opponent’s hand.)
Thief. (At the start of the regroup phase, you may return this character to your hand.)
Thief. (At the start of each skirmish involving this character, discard a card borne by an opponent’s character in that skirmish.)
Thief. (When you play this character, you may draw a card from an opponent’s draw deck.)
Thief. (When you play this character, you may take a card from an opponent’s hand and place it on top of your draw deck.)
Just a few ideas off the top of my head. Give me a little time and I’ll see what else I can come up with. |

| Hmm... I myself think that something like sneaky or furtive might be better for and/or . Thief is okay though. |

how about this,
Thief. (at the start of each skirmish involving this character, reveal a card at random from the free peoples hand. the free-peoples player must choose to discard a possession born by a companion in that skirmish, or discard the card revealed.)
it’s kind of long, but i think it’s balanced. "thief" seems to best relate to possessions in my own personal honest oppinion. i think a keyword that lets you discard any possession or card born by a companion at the star of a skirmish is pretty overpowered. i do agree somewhat with AC though, "thief" might not be the best. it’s not terrible though. |

Good ideas, all. gp to dain.
But... I’m not so sure I’ll go with Thief after all. How about...
Stealthy. (Each time a stealth card is played, this character is strength +1 until the regroup phase).
Now there’s a keyword you could build a deck around! |

Now THAT is a pretty neat idea.  MAYBE limit it to stealth cards of that character’s culture, though that may not be necessary. I dunno. *shrug*
You could do stealthy for Hobbits and sneaky for Gollum/Smeagol. |
