Best deck: Knights / Corsairs
Worst to play against: Dwarven Choke / Sauron Discard (I only use this deck against a firend of mine who loves NPE decks) |

Would you mind posting your Slaked Thirsts deck? |

I was hoping you'd ask.
Here's the basic thing:
Frodo, Reluctant Adventurer
The One Ring, Such a Weight to Carry
Free Peoples (33)
Gimli, Feared Axeman (starting)
Legolas, Greenleaf (starting)
Sindri, Dwarven Lord
Dwarven Axe x2
Ring of Guile x2
Dwarven Bracers
Hand Axe x2
Elven Sword
Hobbit Sword x2
Till Durin Wakes Again x3
Preparations x2
Dark Ways
Slaked Thirsts x4
Quick As May Be x4
Baruk Khazad
Battle Tested x3
Defending the Keep
No Worse for Wear
The site path has lots of underground sites.
The idea is to go second, so you can play a ton of underground sites, which will boost the Shadow side (Orc Swarm) and will also boost the Free Peoples (mega-healing with Till Durin Wakes Again). Basically, you play Preparations, and you stack Slaked Thirsts on it during the regroup phase by exerting with Preparations, and then when you move, the wounds are healed with TDWA. Slaked Thirsts will exhaust minions, and QAMB + Greenleaf will turn them into toast.
I just made it a week ago, so it's missing some cards that could make it better. |
